INSTRUCTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH USE SAFETY
- Before use thoroughly read the operaon manual. - Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.
Extreme care is required in case of children presence in vicinity of the appliance! - Do not use your appliance for any other purpose except of its assignment.
Do not immerse the appliance, its cord and plug in water or any other uids. - Do not leave the appliance without supervision in course of its operaon. - Always pull out the plug from the socket unless the appliance is used or before its cleaning.
Do not use the appliance in case of its damage, also if its cord or plug is damaged – in such case the appliance should be handed over to an authorized service shop for repair. - Do not use the appliance outdoors.
Do not hang the cord on any sharp edges and prevent any contact with hot surfaces.
The appliance should be connected into the socket with ground- ing pin. - Do not place the appliance on hot surfaces.
Do not place the appliance in vicinity of electric and gas cookers, burners, ovens, etc. - Place the appliance on a dry, at and stable surface. - The device is intended for domesc use only. - Before use always make sure that all parts of the appliance are properly installed.
To avoid the risk of damage, re or injury, always use the aach- ments recommended by the manufacturer.
This appliance is not intended for use by children under 8 years of age and individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilies, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children without supervision.21
- Ensure that children do not play with the appliance. - Store the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years of age. - Do not remove the plug from the mains by pulling by the cord. - The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external mer or separate remote-control system. - Do not plug the power cord with wet hands.
Keep your children safe: do not leave any parts of the pack aging readily accessible (i.e. plasc bags, cardboard boxes, polystyrene inserts, etc.). - WARNING! Never let children play with plasc lm or bags. Choking/ asphyxiaon hazard!
Never ll the kele above the maximum level nor under the minimum level – boiling water splashes are possible in case of overlled kele - Make sure if the kele is turned o, prior to its posioning on the heang base. - The kele lid must be closed in course of water boiling. - Use the kele with its associated base exclusively. - Use the kele for water boiling only.
Do not touch the enclosure surfaces in course of water boiling, this surface may be hot.
If water gets into any electric elements inside the kele or onto the base, carefully dry these elements before plugging the kele to the mains. - Do not operate the kele when empty. - Allow the kele to cool completely before cleaning. - Use the kele with its associated lter only (opon).22
6. Water level indicator with scale
1. Before the rst use, boil two full volumes of water in the kele. Dispose of both volumes.
2. Remove the kele from the power base (7) before lling with water.
3. Press the lid opening buon (3) to open the lid and ll the kele up to the desired level (no less
than 0.5 l and no more than 1.8 l). Close the lid carefully (2). Put the kele on the power base (7). Turn on the kele with the On/O switch (5).

water starts boiling, the kele will turn o itself. You can always turn it o sooner with the On/ O switch.
5. Once the water has boiled or the kele has been turned o with the On/O switch, wait for 15
to 20 seconds before turning on the kele again. If the kele is turned on without any water in it, the overtemperature safety will turn o the kele. If this happens, put the kele away to cool down for 15 minutes before lling with water.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the kele frequently of limescale. Use limescale removing chemicals dedicated to electric ket- tles (and use the instrucons for use of the chemical) or a mixture of water with vinegar or citric acid. Failure to descale the kele may result in its failure. Wipe the kele clean inside and out with a cloth. Do not clean with a wire brush, scouring pads or strong detergents. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION See the product’s nameplate for technical specicaons. Power cord length: 0.62 m Proper disposal of the product (waste electrical and electronic equipment) This symbol on the product indicates that the product, aer its lifeme, should not be disposed with other household wastes. To avoid harmful inuence on the environment and human health due to uncontrolled waste disposal, dispose the waste device to the service point of waste household appliances or report collecng it from home. In order to obtain detailed informaon about the locaon and how to dispose the waste electrical and electronic equipment in a safe way, contact your retailer or local Department of Environmental Protecon. Do not dispose the device with other municipal waste.23
