How to transfer videos to the ARCHOS Arnova 7 G2 tablet
Frequently Asked Questions - 06/11/2026
Response Notice-Facile

You can transfer videos to your ARCHOS Arnova 7 G2 using several simple and effective methods.

Via direct USB connection

Connect the tablet to your computer using the supplied USB cable, with the device turned on. After a few seconds, the Arnova 7 G2 will appear as a storage device icon on your computer. You can then transfer your video files in two ways: either by opening Windows Explorer (or Finder on Mac) and copying/pasting your videos directly into the tablet's storage folders, or by using Windows Media Player. In Windows Media Player, click on the Sync tab to sync your chosen videos, music, and photos to the Arnova 7 G2. Once the transfers are complete, close Windows Explorer and all other programs, then click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the taskbar next to the clock before unplugging the USB cable.

Internal storage and microSD cards

Your Arnova 7 G2 has 4 GB of internal storage for your video files. You can also expand this capacity by inserting a microSD card into the designated slot (access at the top of the tablet). Once the card is inserted, you can transfer your videos to it in the same way as to the internal storage via USB connection. The tablet will automatically recognize the card upon reboot.

Via cloud services (Wi-Fi)

Your Arnova 7 G2 has a Wi-Fi connection 802.11 b/g/n. You can sync your videos via cloud services by downloading the corresponding apps from AppsLib (the official download app for Arnova). Log in to your cloud account via the tablet, and your videos will be directly accessible. This method does not require a USB cable.

All common video formats will be played by the built-in video player once the files are transferred. Make sure your computer is turned on during USB transfers to ensure complete synchronization.
