What batteries should I use for the Denver MET-110 detector?

Use two 9V batteries (type 6LR61). Make sure to respect the polarity (+ and -) indicated in the compartment. Do not mix old and new batteries, nor different types.

How do I assemble the MET-110 metal detector?

Why does my detector emit a constant audio signal?

This may be due to sensitivity too high, interference (power lines, mineralized soil), or a poorly connected coil. Reduce sensitivity and try in a less disturbed environment.

What is the maximum detection depth?

The depth depends on the size and type of metal. Generally, the MET-110 can detect a coin up to about 15 cm and a larger target (like a box) up to 30 cm under optimal conditions.

How do I adjust discrimination?

Turn the DISCRIM knob to eliminate unwanted metals (like iron). In the low position, you detect all metals; turning clockwise progressively excludes ferrous metals. Use the PINPOINT function to precisely locate the target.

Can the detector be used in the rain?

No, the unit is not waterproof. Only the coil is waterproof (submersible in fresh water). Avoid any exposure to water, humidity, and direct sunlight.

What should I do if the device does not turn on?

Check that the batteries are inserted correctly (polarity) and are in good condition. If batteries are new, test with another set. The battery compartment should be clean.

How do I clean the detector?

Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the exterior. Do not use solvents or abrasive products. Dry thoroughly before storing.

Can I use the detector to search for gold objects?

Yes, the MET-110 detects all metals, including gold. For better discrimination, set the sensitivity to an appropriate level and avoid highly mineralized soils.

1. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of reach o f children.
2. Keep product out of the reach of children and pets to avoid chewing and swallowing.
3. Never use old and new batteries or different types of batteries together. Remove the batteries when you are not using the system for a longer period of time. Check the polarity (+/-) of the batteries when inserting them in the product. Wrong positioning can cause an explosion. Batteries are not included.
4. Product operating and storage temperature is from 0 degree Celsius to 40 degree Celsius. Under and over this temperature might affect the function.
5. Never open the product. Touching the inside of electronics can cause electric shock. Repairs or service should only be performed by qualified personnel.

6. Do not expose to heat, water, moisture, direct sunlight!

7. The unit is not waterproof. If water or a foreign object enters the unit, stop use immediately.

8. Do not use non original accessories together with the product as this can make the product functionality abnormal.
