Temperature indicator lights During operation, the indicator lights of the temperature indicator light up in the following colors. 50 °C - green 70 °C - blue 80 °C - purple 90 °C - light green 100 °C - red 50 °C 70 °C 80 °C 90 °C 100 °C Before First Use

  • Remove all packaging material and check whether the appliance is undamaged and complete.
  • Fully unwind the power cord (9) and make sure that the power cord (9) is clamped into the cable guide (10) (rear side).

for use. You can stop the boiling process any time by pushing the On/Off button on the key panel (7). Water left over from a previous boiling cycle can be re-used in the next boiling cycle. However, always make sure that the water level is not too low. Always unplug the appliance after use. Recommendation: if you are not using he appliance disconnect it from the mains! Dry-boil cut-out Your kettle is equipped with a boil-dry cut-out, which will switch off the kettle automatically, should it accidentally be operated without water or by not observing the minimum water level. In the event of such a safety cut-out, switch off the appliance immediately, unplug it and let it cool down for approx. 10 minutes. Afterwards, your kettle is ready for use again.22 Cleaning and Care Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains. Let it completely cool down. Never immerse the appliance in water. Danger! Electric Shock! Clean the body of the appliance with a moistened soft cloth. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents and/or other hard objects to clean the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. DESCALING Descale your appliance in regular intervals (approx. every 3 – 6 months), depending on the frequency of use and the local water quality. Never use any sharp, pointed or metal objects to remove limescale built up in the kettle. To remove limescale, use a common gentle descaler, which is suitable for your appliance. After descaling, always boil 4-5 kettles of water, which you do not use but pour away. Use fresh water with each boiling cycle. This procedure is necessary to remove any descaler residues in the kettle. Note: Descaler mixtures should not be poured down enamel coated sinks.Instruction Manual ENGLISH

Storage After use and after the appliance has completely cooled down wind the power cable (9) around the cord storage (11). Keep it away from children and store it in a clean and dry place.
