This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The warranty will only be valid if the warranty application has been completed by the dealer at the time of purchase. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty.

This appliance may be used by children from the age of 8 and up, and also by persons with a physical or sensorly limitation, as well as mentally limited persons or persons with a lack of experience and knowledge. But only on the condition that these persons have received the necessary instructions on how to use this appliance in a safe way and that they know the dangers that can occur by using this appliance.

Children cannot be allowed to play with the appliance. Maintenance and cleaning of the appliance may not be done by children, unless they are older than 8 years old and are under supervision.

Keep the appliance out of reach of children younger than 8 years old.

This appliance is suitable to be used in a household environment and in similar surroundings such as:

READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE

• Never immerse the appliance in water or another liquid.
• Never use the wine opener in the direct proximity of fire or inflammable or explosive fumes.
• Only use the wine opener for the purpose it is made for.
• The appliance is only suited for normal domestic use indoors.
• Never agressively push the wine opener on top of the bottle or never try to speed up the process.
• Never touch the spiral (the worm) or the turning mechanism. Hold the appliance at its plastic casing.
• Do not try to open bottles if the appliance does not function well.
• Do not try to disassemble the appliance. It does not contain parts that are replaceable.
• CAUTION! The spiral is sharp, use the wine opener carefully. Do not put your fingers in the opening while the appliance is in use.

USE

1. Open the battery compartment and place 4 AA batteries. Make sure that the + and - of the battery match with the indication on the battery compartment. Seal with the lid.

1. Before you pull the cork out of the bottle, you need to remove the top part of the capsule around the bottle neck. To do this, you hold the foot piece upside down, slide it over the bottle neck and twist it. Two special knives at the inside of the foot piece cut through the top of the capsule.

1. Now put the wine opener on top of the bottle. Make sure the wine opener stands up straight. If you do not put it on straight, the cork will not be removed properly or it might burst.

2. Hold the wine opener firmly and press the bottom button (button to pull the cork).

The spiral will now twist into the cork clockwise. The cork will be pulled up gradually. If you hear the mechanism stop, the cork has been fully pulled out of the bottle.

1. Remove the wine opener from the bottle and press the top button (button to unlock the cork). The cork will now be released from the spiral.

CLEANING

Clean the appliance with a damp cloth, but never immerse it in water. Do not use abrasive or other agressive cleaning products.
