Frequently Asked Questions - DO9057W DOMO

How to clean my DOMO DO9057W waffle maker?
Let the appliance cool down completely. Wipe the plates with a non-abrasive damp cloth. Never use metal sponges or harsh products. For stubborn residue, apply a little vegetable oil and wipe off after a few minutes.
Can I use non-stick spray on the plates?
No, it is not necessary as the plates are already non-stick. Using spray can damage the coating over time. If you wish to grease, lightly brush the plates with a brush dipped in oil.
What to do before first use?
Remove all packaging. Clean the plates with a damp cloth. Plug in the empty appliance and heat for about 10 minutes to eliminate new smells. Let it cool, then clean again.
Why are my waffles sticking to the plates?
This may be due to a lack of preheating or batter that is too liquid. Make sure the green light has turned on before pouring the batter. Also check that the plates are clean and lightly oiled.
How to set the thermostat for perfect cooking?
Turn the thermostat to the desired position (from 1 to 5). The higher the number, the more golden and crispy the waffle will be. Start at 3 and adjust according to your taste. The light goes off when the temperature is reached.
Can I prepare other foods besides waffles?
This waffle maker is designed only for classic waffles. Do not put foods that are too liquid or large, as this could damage the appliance or cause overflow.
The light turns on but the appliance does not heat up, what to do?
Check that the plug is properly connected and that the thermostat is not at position 0. If the problem persists, contact DOMO after-sales service.
How long does it take to cook a waffle?
Cooking time varies depending on the thermostat setting, typically between 3 and 5 minutes. The ready light comes on when the waffle is cooked. Open and check the color.
How to store the power cord?
Under the appliance there is a cord wrap. Wrap the cable around the provided cleats. Do not bend the cable too tightly.
Where to find spare parts for my DOMO waffle maker?
Spare parts are not sold individually for this model. In case of failure, contact DOMO customer service via the official website or the retailer.
