Thank you for purchasing the Carmen Happy Feet Fitness Spa. Please read these instructions carefully before using the product and keep them in a safe place for future reference.
The instructions include safety guidelines and other information important for the proper functioning of the appliance. Please read the instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place. If the appliance changes hard, be sure to give the instructions to the new owners. It is in your own interests to follow all safety guidelines.



Safety instructions when connecting the appliance
- This appliance complies with the recognised rules of technology and the pertinent safety regulations for electrical appliances.
To avoid damage or danger by improper use, the instructions for use should be carefully kept and followed - If you give the appliance to another person then you should also supply them with the instructions for use!
If the power cost is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid any danger.
The voltage of the power source must be the same as specified on the nameplate!
Connect the appliance only to AC current and to a socket with an existing contact rod pull the cable over sharp edges, clamp it into place or allow it to hang down. Keep the cable away from heat and compression!
Before are check that the appliance functions properly! The appliance should not be used if:
the cold is damaged
the appliance shows noticeable damage
the appliance has been dropped
A distance of at least 1.00 m from the bath or shower unit
should be observed when using the appliance! - The air inlet opening on the bottom of the unit should act be obstructed by soft flooring material
- Use the appliance only for its intended purpose!
This appliance is not suitable for professional or medical use!
Persons with nervous disorders should never use the appliance
without accompanying person in order to avoid any danger! - children should only use electrical appliances under the supervision of adults
Please use tap water and non-foaming bath salts
- The maximum amount of water used should not exceed 3.6 litre
The water level should not exceed the water level indicator (Bt)
- Do not ever use the appliance in the standing position, use it only in the sitting position!
Do not operate the unit with wet hands!
- During use the appliance should not be moved and the plug should not be disconnected by pulling the card!
Do not use the ohit setting, without water!
- the appearance should only be employed using the mounting lip (d) at the front of the cutl.
Do not immerse the unit in water

Effectiveness >
the foot massage is a harmful fat tired, hot or painful feet. The foot massage eases tense tissue and stimulates the blood supply; the feet muscles are gently relaxed and the circulation is stimulated. The foot massage can be used for dry vibratory foot massage and also with warm water and whitish bath effect. The vibratory massage eases tense muscles and helps the blood
circulation, the temperature water it rested with non-farming bath salts - and the powerful whitin effect create a gentle pricking effect on the skin which calms and relaxes the nerves.
Warning!
Anyone suffering from leg or fact problems e.g. phlebitis, venocele, rash, open sores or other ailments should first consult their doctor before use.
Operating instructions
Unwind the cold from the card holder of the appliance. The appliance should be placed on a flat, solid floor. Before filling with water, ensure that the plug is disconnected from the drains.

Switching on
The 4-step switch (a) should be turned on and the desired position chosen:

Heating
A gentle heater has been built underneath the foot rest of the massager. By switching on the heating it can be avoided that the warm water cools down quickly. The heater is not suitable for heating cold water.

Functions
Switch setting 1: Vibratory massage with and without water
for quick use you can have a foot massage without water. Place your feet with our without socks on the bottom of the footbath and turn the operation switch to setting nr.1. The heating function is switched off.
Switch setting 2: Heating with whirl bath massage
the water is injected through fine holes creating air bubbles which
cares the feet and massage the skin in a gentle way. This is
enjoying and relaxing. The positive effect of the whirl bath can be
increased by the use of a suitable bath oil, however you may only
use non-forming products. Especially refreshing in warm weather
is the use of the whirl bath with cold water for all settings with
the whirl bath function the appliance should always be filled with
volatile.
Switch setting 3: Heating with whirl bath and vibratory massage
If you choose this function the vibration function and the whit bath message can be simultaneously used. The combination of both has a passive input and increases your enjoyment.
Acupressure attachment (c)
- Attach the acupressure attachment in a comfortable position on the middle bridge of your appliance. The attachment must engage in the two depressions on the left and right.
- To remove the acupuncture attachment, press the two buttons together as shown in fig. 2 until the attachment is released and can be pulled off upwards.
Massage Duration
to minutes daily is sufficient in order to feel freser and filter. If desired the massage duration or frequency can be increased. Under no circumstances should you stand in the appliance. The intensity of the massage can be increased by gently pressing of the feet against the bottom.
Caution! Overheating of appliance!
Do not use the appliance continuously for more than 30 minutes. After 30 minutes of operation, allow the appliance to cool down to the room temperature.
Acu-pressure (point-massage) >
On the soles of our feet, we have many reflex zones which are nerve points connected to the internal organs. By massaging these reflex zones with the acupuncture attachment, you can stimulate the respective organs and increase blood circulation. Special literature is available in book shops containing detailed information about the location and effects of these reflex zones.
Dry massage >
For quick and in between use, foot massaging can be done without water. In this case the appliance should only be operated when the switch is positioned at MASSAGE.
Place the appliance in front of a chair and connect it to the stairs. Then sit down and then place your feet with or without socks on the bottom of the massager. Enjoy the pleasant massage in a relaxed position.
Cleaning and maintenance >
Before emptying and cleaning the appliance always ensure that it has been switched off and disconnected from the mains. Never empty the bath from the side with the switcher. Always employ using the opposite pouring lip (d) Thereafter rinse the unit with water and a mild cleaning liquid and dry, especially after the use of bath oils. Do not use any abrasive liquids or detergents. Do not submerge the appliance in water. Rinse the cord around the cordholder situated underneath the unit.
Guarantee
The guarantee covers this product for a period of 2 years, with the exception of individual parts, beginning on the date of original purchase. Use of the guarantee does not result in extension of the guarantee period. The guarantee covers manufacturing faults and material faults in original parts.
This guarantee does not include normal wear and heat and damage in the product by accident or misuse, abuse, alteration to the product or use inconsistent with the technical end/ or safety instructions required.
If your product requires repair, you should contact an authorized service dealer.
Never dispose of your appliance with the regular household waste. Follow the waste disposal regulations for your locality or return your appliance to the retailer. Retain the retailer's receipt as proof of purchase.
