Product description A Dust compartment F Motor with Battery module B Dust filter G Wet nozzle C Unlocking button H Filter holder D Charging indicator I Crevice nozzle E ON / OFF switch Installing the wall holder Your vacuum cleaner is supplied with a special wall holder. When installing the wall holder, choose a position near (at the side of) a mains power socket, which must not be in the open air or in a damp room. To install the wall holder, hold it (with the charging plug at the above) against the wall in the intended position and transfer or mark the mounting holes with a sharp pencil. Take care to ensu- re that the holder is vertical and that the holes are not positioned over any electrical cables or water pipes which could be punctured. After drilling the holes and inserting the wall plugs, install the screws in the plugs until the screw heads are approx. 3 mm from the wall. Now hook the holder onto the screws and push downwards as far as it will go. Once the two screws are located in the slots, tighten the screws to secure the holder. Charging the battery The NiMH-battery (nominal voltage 7,2 V – charging capacity max. 1300 mAh) of the battery vacuum cleaner is charged only partially and must be recharged approx. 20-24 hours before use. Plug the charging plug and the vacuum cleaner into the wall holder and the power supply/charger into a socket. Correct char- ging is indicated by the charging indicator lighting up. The indicador lights up permanently, i.e. it does not cut-off automatically. It is normal for the unit to beco- me warm during charging. It is advisable to recharge the battery vacuum cleaner after each time it is used at a longer time so that it is fully charged and ready for the next use. Avoid a total discharge of the batterry. This could damage it and reduce the maxi- mum charging capacity, i.e. shorten the running time Note: The ON / OFF sliding switch must be switched off while charging. The appliance must not be charged at temperatures below 0°C or above 40°C. If the appliance will not be used for a prolonged period (approx. 6 weeks), it is advisable to disconnect the charger from the power socket. Store the appliance in a cool place and charge it every six months at least.

Directions for use Remove the vacuum cleaner from the wall holder. To switch on, push the on/off switch forward and hold it in that position. It can now be used to vacuum dirt and dust. The motor will stop automatically when you release the on/off switch. Crevice nozzle : The crevice nozzle is an effective attachement for vacuuming deep slots in upholstery, skirting boards, ledges, corners etc. Wet nozzle : Before vacuuming liquid or wet dust, remove the filter and insert the wet nozzle (which permits the vacuuming of liquids) in the aperture in the suction nozzle. If the suction power of the appliance diminishes or fades away completely after a time, recharge it. Always recharge the battery immediately after use. That way you will obtain the best possible performance from the appliance and prevent shortening the service life of the battery module. After use You are recommended to empty the filter after every vacuuming operation. Removing the filter: Press the release button and pull the suction nozzle off downwards while swive- ling it. Remove the filter from the suction nozzle. Shake the dust and dirt of the suction nozzle and of the filter into a refuse bin. In the case of stronger contamination of the filter and of the suction nozzle you can wash this with a mild cleaning agent. Make sure that the filter and suction nozzle are comple- tely dry before renewed use. Inserting the filter: Insert the filter in the suction nozzle and fit the suction nozzle back on the motor part until it snaps noticeably into place. Your battery vacuum cleaner and now ready again. Changing the battery module The battery vacuum cleaner is equipped with a replaceable battery module which can be recycled. Before removing the battery module, leave the unit in the switched on conditi- on until the battery is "empty".

  • Remove the battery compartment lid upwards.
  • Remove the battery module and loosen the two connectors.
  • Connect the new battery module and pay attention to correct polarity: Plus pole = red lead to connection marked red Minus pole = black cable to connection marked black When inserting the battery module in the motor housing, first insert the side with the connection leads.
