AVVERTENZE GENERALI

Read the following instructions carefully, since they give you useful safety information about installation, use and maintenance and help you avoid mishaps and possible accidents.

This appliance is to be destined to its special purpose only.

Any other use is to be considered as improper and thus dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be responsible for any damages deriving from improper, wrong or incautious use.

Remove the packing and make sure that the appliance is intact, with special attention to the supply cable. The elements of the packing (plastic bags, polystyrene, etc) do not have to be accessible to the children, in order to preserve them from danger sources.

It is recommended not to throw these packing material in the domestic waste, but to deliver them to the appropriate station of collection or destruction refusals, asking eventually information to the manager of the Sanitation Department of your own municipality.

The installation must be made according to the instructions of the manufacturer. A bad installation can cause damages to people, pets or objects, for those the manufacturer cannot be responsible.

The appliance has been manufactured for household use only, not for commercial purpose.

Do not use the appliance outdoors or expose it to atmospheric agents to avoid break or damage. Do not leave children or disabled people using the appliance without closed supervision.

Do not subject the unit to shock to prevent damage.

Do never immerse the appliance into water.

Do never overload the appliance to avoid break and to not void the warranty.

In case of breakdown/bad use of the appliance do not manipulate it. Contact directly the phone number 045/7134674 to make it repaired.

If the above information are not respected that may compromise the safety of the device.

If you decide not to use the appliance any longer, make it unserviceable by simply cutting the supply cable after disconnecting the plug from the socket. Also make any dangerous parts unserviceable, especially for children who could play with the appliance.

Keep away from pets and children.

Dust and chemical substances may compromise its integrity and good use.

USE

1) Place the scale on a flat and stable surface. A strong surface is the most indicated.
2) Set the adjustment knob until the arrow indicate 0 kg, being careful not to turn the adjustor out of the screw.
3) Put and remove ingredients on the scale until the tare is correctly set. If the arrow does not return to 0 kg repeat point 2.
4) Put the ingredients to weight into the bowl of the scale and read the weight.

ATTENTION : a wrong position of the scale, such as on a cloth, or misplacement of the ingredients inside the bowl can affect the accuracy of weighing.

Therefore it is important to keep the indications described to avoid inaccuracies weighing.

CLEANING

Clean the external part of the scale with a detergent for household use or a disinfectant. Do never use abrasive detergents, alcohol, essence or other similar substances that can damage the scale.

This appliance has been checked in the factory. From the date of original purchase a 24 month guarantee applies to material and production defects. The purchase receipt and the guarantee certificate must be submitted together in case of claim to guarantee.

For any technical assistance, please contact directly the seller or our head office in order to preserve the appliance's efficiency and NOT TO void the guarantee. Any intervention on this appliance by non-authorized persons will automatically void the guarantee.

Guarantee conditions

If the appliance shows defects as a result of faulty material and/or production during the period of guarantee, we guarantee repair free of charge on condition that:

• The appliance has been used properly and for the purpose for which it has been intended.
• Repairs are professionally carried out by qualified persons who are appointed by the supplier.
• The purchase receipt shall be presented.
• The appliance showing a fair wear and tear shall not be covered by this guarantee.

Therefore, any part that could be accidentally broken or having visible signs of use in consumable products (such as lamps, batteries, heating elements...) is excluded from the guarantee, and any defect whatsoever resulting from non-respect of the rules for use, negligence in usage and/or maintenance of the appliance, damage during transport and any other damage not attributable the supplier.

For every defect that could not be repaired within the guarantee period, the appliance will be replaced free of charge.
