INTRODUCTION

Thank you for deciding to purchase the Foot & Leg Cover for Scooter/Wheelchair Users from Aidapt. The Foot & Leg Cover is manufactured from the finest materials available. When used correctly it is designed to give many years of reliable, trouble-free service.

NB. This equipment must be installed by a competent person.

BEFORE USE

• Carefully remove all packaging. Avoid using any knives or other sharp instruments as this may damage the item.
• Check the product for any visible damage If you see any damage or suspect a fault, do not use your product, but contact your supplier for support.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

The Foot & Leg Cover can easily be slipped on and off:

• Unzip the opening fully
• Put the Foot & Leg Cover on the seat of the scooter or wheelchair, with the opened sections spread to either side.
• Carefully position yourself (or the user) in the seat on top of the opened Foot & Leg Cover, with your feet placed firmly in the foot area
• Use the full length zip to close the Foot & Leg Cover up to the waist
• Hook elastic loops over pushign handles, where applicable.

CLEANING

Clean your Foot & Leg Cover using a mild detergent with a slightly damp, soft cloth only. Only use a mild detergent or disinfectant; never use an abrasive cleaner.

The Foot & Leg Cover can be cleaned in a washing machine at a low temperature, ideally on a wool or delicates setting.

After cleaning, hang the Cover somewhere warm and dry to air. Do not leave in direct contact with a heat source and do not put in a tumble dryer.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Please make a safety check of the product at regular intervals or if you have any concerns.

REISSUE

If you reissue or are about to reissue this product, please thoroughly check all components for their safety.

If in any doubt, please do not issue or use, but immediately contact your supplier for service support.
