1. Explanation of Warning Symbols and Notes
- This symbol is used to indicate safety instructions or to draw your attention to specific hazards and risks. Note

- This device is intended for private, non- commercial use only.
- Protect the device from dirt, moisture and overheating, and only use it in dry locations.
- Do not drop the device and do not expose it to any major shocks.
- Do not operate the device outside of its operating limits as dened in the technical specications.
- Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
- Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children due to the risk of suffocation.
- Dispose of packaging material immediately according to locally applicable regulations.
- Do not modify the device in any way. Doing so voids the warranty Warning - batteries
- When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and - markings) and place
- the batteries accordingly. Failure to do so could result in the batteries leaking or exploding.
- Do not short-circuit the batteries.
- Do not recharge the batteries.
- Do not throw the batteries in a re.
- Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
- Do not allow children to change batteries without supervision.
- If the device is not used for a long period of time, remove the batteries.3
4. Controls and Displays
- UNIT button: for selecting the units of weight: kilograms (kg), pounds (lb) or stones (st:lb)
- Use a PCS CR2032 coin cell battery.
- To change the battery, open the battery cover on the back of the device, insert a CR2032 battery with the correct polarity into the battery compartment. Close the battery compartment fully
- Place the scale on a clean and level surface.
- Ensure that the scale is stable. Weighing:
- The scale switches on automatically when you step on it. Your body weight ashes on the display during the weighing process.
- Wait until the displayed weight stops ashing. Once the weight has stabilised, it is displayed for another ten seconds.
- The scale then switches off automatically Error messages
- The error message “- - - -” is displayed when the scale is overloaded.
- The message “LO” indicates that the battery is nearly dead. Replace the battery as soon as possible. Note
- To ensure accurate measurements, we recommend that you weigh yourself at the same time each day (e.g. in the morning right after you wake up) Note
- When the weight displayed by the scales seems to be incorrect, check that the contact between battery and the contacts is in proper working order. If you haven’t used the scales in a long time, change the battery and try again
7. Care and Maintenance
- Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Make sure that water does not get into the scales.
