WARNING
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
Regarding the operating times and speed setting, refer to the section "Operation" on page 4 of the manual.
Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
Regarding the instructions for cleaning surfaces in contact with food, refer to the section "Cleaning and Maintenance" on pages 5&6 of the manual.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read this manual carefully before using the appliance and keep it for future reference.
- To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the appliance or its cord in water or any other liquid. If the appliance falls into liquid, unplug the cord from the mains socket immediately. Do not reach into the liquid.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors or anywhere the cord or mixer might come into contact with water while in use.
- Always disconnect the mixer from the mains socket when not in use, before assembling or disassembling and before cleaning.
- Never use this appliance to mix or stir anything other than foods.

The use of attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
- To avoid possibility of mixer being accidentally pulled off work area, which could result in damage to the mixer or in personal injury, do not let cord hang over the edge of a table or counter.
- To avoid damage to cord and possible fire hazard, do not let cord contact hot surfaces.
- Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. This appliance must be repaired by a qualified technician to avoid any hazard.
- Keep the appliance and cord away from direct radiant heat from the sun, from damp surfaces, from sharp edges and other dangers.
- Use the appliance only for its intended purpose.
- Do not use the appliance during cooking processes or with boiling liquids.

GETTING STARTED
Before using your hand mixer for the first time, wash the dough hooks and beaters in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Wipe the outer surface of the body with a damp cloth.
CAUTION: To avoid injury when inserting or removing beaters or dough hooks, make sure that the appliance is unplugged from the mains socket and the speed selector is set to the 0 position.
Select the attachment according to the required type of mix.
- Beaters: Used for liquid mixtures such as creams, egg-whites, confectionary doughs, etc.
- Dough hooks: Used for light doughs.
Insert the beater or dough hook with collar into the large hole. Push the beater or dough hook in until it clicks into place. Insert the beater or dough hook without collar into the small hole and rotate slightly until it is properly secured.

NOTE: Never operate the appliance with one beater and one dough hook at the same time.
OPERATION
WARNING: Do not operate this appliance for more than 10 minutes without interruption at speed 1 to 5. Allow it to cool down to room temperature before continuing again.

Plug the appliance into the mains socket.

Make sure that the speed selector is set to the 0 position.

Put the beaters or dough hooks into the ingredients to be mixed as deep as possible to avoid splashing.

NOTE: Do not immerse the hand mixer into the ingredients beyond the length of the beaters or dough hooks. Do not allow liquid to come into contact with the mixer body.

Select the desired speed by moving the speed selector to the right, from 1 for a low speed to 5 for a high speed.

It is recommended to first start on a low speed and increase the speed as needed, depending on the desired consistency of the ingredients being processed.

Hold the hand mixer through the ingredients with a gentle circular motion, and up and down movement.
Turbo setting: press and hold the turbo button to obtain maximum mixing speed. Release the button and the appliance will return to the previously selected speed.
- When you have finished mixing, move the speed selector to the 0 position and unplug the appliance from the mains socket.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning: Always turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
Clean the body of the hand mixer with a damp cloth. Never immerse the body in water.
After each use, remove the beaters or dough hooks by pressing the eject button. Clean them in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Surfaces in contact with food should be cleaned regularly to avoid cross contamination from different types of food, the use of warm clean water with a mild detergent is advisable when dealing with surfaces that come into contact with food.
Correct food hygiene practises should always be followed at all times to avoid possibility of food poisoning /cross contamination.
Dry the entire appliance with a dry cloth before replacing.
Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasives product for cleaning.
