MICA THERMIC HEATING
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS This appliance is suitable for household use only. Do not use this appliance for anything other than its intended use. Do not use in moving vehicles or boats. Do not use outdoors. This appliance can be used by children, starting from the age of 8 and up. And by persons with a physical or sensorly limitation as well as, mentally limited persons or persons with a lack of experience and knowledge. On the condition that these persons have received the necessary instruction on how to use this appliance in a safe way and they must also know the dangers that can occur in using this appliance. Children cannot be allowed to play with the appliance. Maintenance and cleaning of the appliance, cannot be done by children younger than 8 year old. This appliance is suitable to be in an household environment and in similar surroundings such as :
- Kitchen for personnel of shops, ofces or other similar professional surrounding.
- Hotel or motel rooms and other surroundings with a residential character

- The heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surface. Use handles when moving this heater.
- Keep combustible materials, such as drapery, and other furnishings at least 3 feet (0.9m) from the front of the heater and away from the side and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by children, near children or invalids, whenever the heater is left operating as well as unattended.
- This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry area and similar indoor locations.
- Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use in area where gasoline, paint or ammable liquids are used or stored.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or re, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible re, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not operate this appliance on a soft surface because the inlet openings can be blocked.
- Always unplug heater when not in use. To disconnect heater, remove plug from outlet.
- Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of re.
- However, if this heater is used with an extension cord,DO7312M
the conductor wire inside the cord should be at least 1 mm in diameter and rated not less than 13AMP.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or the like.
- Arrange cord away from trafc area and where it will not be tripped over.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug, If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent of a similarly qualied person in order to avoid hazard.
- Connect to properly grounded outlets only.
- Use this heater only described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause re, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer or any other device that switches the heater on automatically, since a re risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly. MICATHERMIC HEATER This new type of heater is used the “Micathermic Heating Element” which is the leading heating technology in the 21th Century. It is not heating up the heater itself but to radiate the surroundings as to warm up the room temperature and about to replace the traditional oil - lled heaters. babies & young kids) REMOVE PACKAGING PLEASE READ ALL THE INSTRUCTION BEFORE USING THIS HEATER Take the heater and the packaging out of the gift box. Spread the paper inserts at two ends of the heater. Remove the polybag (CAUTION: THIS BAG IS NOT A TOY. Keep away from children). Take the wheels and wheel mountings out of the paper inserts and the cord storage room of the heater. Save the packaging for storing the heater, while not using the heater or in the summer season.
INSTALLATION OF WHEELS AND WHEELS MOUNTINGS
PLEASE READ ALL THE INSTRUCTION BEFORE USING THIS HEATER Insert the castor plastic shaft into the hole of the feet suppoert until it clicks. Carefully slide the wheel mountings into the heater. Take the power cord out from the cord storage room - The Temperature control knob at [DOT] position. - Also both the (Minimum) and (Medium) switches at off position. Plug in power cord to a suitable electrical outlet. (Rated not less than 13 AMP) - For low temperature, press left hand side (Minimum) button. - For medium temperature, turn off left-hand side (Minimum) button, press right-hand side (Medium) button. - For high temperature, press both buttons on. Then turn the temperature control knob clock - wise until the light indicator turns on.
At this moment, the temperature control is starting to work. According to personal needs, you can adjust the temperature control knob to increase or decrease the room temperature in a clock – wise or anti - clockwise direction as shown in the gure. ANTI-FROST FUNCTION It will keep the surrounding temperature above “Freezing Point”. To do this, simply plug in the power cord, and turn the Temperature Control Knob to the “Snowake” position, fear of pipe breakage by ice is evitable.
TOP COVER AND COVERING SENSORS
Even though a warning label “DO NOT COVER” has been placed on the unit, some users accidentally cover the unit by means of towels, blankets or the like. So, a safety top cover is placed on the top of heater to give an extra protection for young kids and babies. Once the covering sensors of the heater sense overheat, power will be cut off. When the unit temperature falls again, power will be resumed. CLEANING Before cleaning, turn off the heater, unplug the power cord and allow the heater to cool. Do not immerse power cord, plug, or heater in water or other liquid, or pour water or other liquid over the heater. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and lint at the metal grill of the heater. Wipe the heater with a dry cloth to remove dust and a damp cloth (not wet) to clean off stains. Do not use detergents, abrasive cleaning powder or any kind of polishing material on the body of the heater, as these can damage the nish. STORAGE Store the heater in cool dry location and preferably covered to prevent the dust and dirt. Or use old packaging to repack the unit. Unplug the heater and store the mains lead in the storage room at the back panel. Ensure that the plug does not trail to cool before cleaning.DO7312M
