CONDITIONS DE GARANTIE
This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures which are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The warranty will only be valid if the warranty application has been completed by the dealer at the time of purchase. All parts, such as brushes and batteries, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty.

VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
- Don't move the appliance when it is working
- Don't remove any parts of the appliance when it is working
- Don't use the appliance without the ceramic bowl.
- Don't place any food (liquid or solid) directly on the heating element
- De bowl, the lid and the heating element become hot a few minutes after plug in. Be very careful to prevent burns.
- We advise against the use of other moulds, than the ones delivered with the unit
- The moulds are not dishwasher safe
- The appliance can only be used for the melting of chocolate
- Remove the plug before cleaning the unit or when the appliance is not in use
- Always place the unit on a stable, fl at surface, large enough for a safe use
- Don't let the cord touch hot parts of the appliance.
- Let the appliance cool completely before storage.
- This appliance is for household use only
- This appliance is not a toy !
- Don't ever let kids use the appliance without proper supervision
- Don't let the appliance unguarded when in use
- Don't let children play with the packing material (plastic bag, polystyrene,...), this can present a danger
- Don't immerse the unit in water
- Always use an earthed socket.
- Make sure the household current is identical to the current mentioned on the rating plate of the appliance.
- When using an extension cord make sure it also has an earthed socket. The wattage needs to be the same or higher than the one of the appliance.
- Check the cord on damages before every use.
- When the appliance malfunctions or is damaged, please bring it to an quali ed electrician for control and repair. Don't repair the unit yourself
- Don't expose the unit to extreme cold, rain, sun, ..
- Only use the accessories delivered with the appliance
- Only use the appliance as described in the booklet
BEFORE FIRST USE
- Remove all packaging.
- Wash all parts, except the heating element, in warm soapy water
- Clean the in and outside of the heating element with a damp cloth.
- Dry all parts thoroughly.

ASSEMBLY
- Place the ceramic bowl inside the heating element.
- Place the lid on the heating element.
USE
- Put the plug into the socket, the appliance starts working immediately.
- The indicator light lights up.
CHOCOLATE FONDUE
- Break 200 to 400g of chocolate in to small pieces and place them in the ceramic bowl.
- Put the lid on the chocolate fondue and let the chocolate melt for about 5 min.
- Lift up the lid and stir the chocolate.
- Close the lid.
- Keep checking and stirring the chocolate at regular times.
- After 20 to 25 minutes the chocolate will be completely melted (depending on the amount and the kind of chocolate)
NOTE : To keep the quality of the chocolate it is very important that the melting temperature isn't higher than 35^ . The appliance makes sure that the chocolate is melted on the ideal temperature.

When necessary you can add a bit of water, milk, cream or oil to make the chocolate more fluid

You can eat the chocolate fondue with
Fresh fruit (pear, bananas, oranges,...)
Dried fruit (dates, fi gs, prunes, nuts,...)

Reusing chocolate :
The left over chocolate can be used again. Keep the chocolate in a cool place. Before
reusing the chocolate, let it melt au-bain-marie, don't forget to add a bit of water during melting
You can add extra flavour to the chocolate with liqueur. Add about 5 cl of liqueur to 500g of chocolate
You can also add other flavours such as: cinnamon, coffee extract, almond,...
CHOCOLATE FIGURES
- Break 200 to 400g of chocolate in to small pieces and place them in the ceramic bowl.
- Put the lid on the chocolate fondue and let the chocolate melt for about 5 min.
- Lift up the lid and stir the chocolate.
- Close the lid
- Keep checking and stiring the chocolate at regular times.
- After 20 to 25 minutes the chocolate will be completely melted (depending on the amount and the kind of chocolate)
NOTE : To keep the quality of the chocolate it is very important that the melting temperature isn't higher than 35^ . The appliance makes sure that the chocolate is melted on the ideal temperature.
- We advise against the adding of liquids, this will make the chocolate to fluid and difficult to shape
- When the chocolate is sufficiently melted, use the large spoon to fill the mould
- It is important to fill up the mould completely and to make sure the chocolate is even
- Place the moulds in a cool dry place , such as the fridge, to stiffen the chocolate
- After appr. 2 hours the chocolate will be hard again
- You can remove the chocolate from the mould by tapping lightly on the mould until the chocolate comes out.
REMARKS

- White fork and spoon : to immerse food that can not be prodded with a fork.
- Bags to keep your chocolate.
2. Decoration
- Before adding the chocolate in the mould you can decorate the bottom of the mold with, nuts, raisons,...
- When the chocolate is hard you can decorate further with white or milk chocolate by using the spray fl ask
- Appart from solid chocolate fi gures you can also make fi lled chocolate fi gures
O Let the chocolate melt as previously described.
- When the chocolate is melted, you spread the bottom of the mould with chocolate with your finger, to emphasize the details
O Fill up the mould completely
- Let it rest for 15 to 20min . Turn over the mould above a bowl and let the chocolate run out. Let it drain properly. There will be a tin layer of chocolate still in the mould
- Keep the chocolate you poured out, warm.
Let the chocolate in the mould harden for 45 minutes.
o Now fi ll up the mould with a chosen fl avour : nuts, oranges, kirsch, nougat,.
Let it dry for about 15 minutes.
- Now top off the mould with the left over chocolate and even it out. Put in the fridge for 2 hours.
- When the chocolate is hard and dry, remove the chocolate from the mould by tapping the mould lightly
MAINTENANCE
Always remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.
Remove the left over chocolate and put it in a dustbin. Don't wash the chocolate away in the sink. The chocolate will harden in the drainpipes and block them up.
The ceramic bowl, the lid and the little bowls are dishwasher safe.
The other accessories (moulds, forks, spoon, fl ask,...) must be washed in warm soapy water with a mild detergent.
The inside and outside of the heating element can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Never immerse the heating element in water or any other liquid.
Note : We recommend to clean the unit after every use. When the chocolate is hard it will be much harder to remove it.
