• This appliance has been designed only for domestic use.

• The cleaning and maintenance of the appliance and the battery charger may not be done by children without the supervision of an adult.

• Keep all the parts of the packaging out of the reach of children, they are not a toy. Keep the plastic bag out of the reach of children: danger of suffocation.

• In case the appliance and the battery charger accidentally fall and/or there are visible signs of damage do not use the appliance but have it checked by an authorized Ser- vice Centre as the internal safety features may have been affected.

• In case of breakdown or malfunction switch off the appliance and never attempt to di- sassemble it, but refer to an authorized Polti Service Centre.

• To avoid prejudicing the safety of the appliance when repairing or replacing accesso- ries, use only original spare parts.

• The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.

• The appliance must be disconnected from the supply mains when removing the battery.

CORRECT USE OF THE PRODUCT

This appliance is intended for home use for cleaning damp, smooth surfaces such as win- dows, mirrors or tiles, in accordance with the in- structions provided in this manual. Please read these instructions carefully and keep them for future reference. Polti declines liability for any damage or accident derived from any use of this ap- pliance which does not comply with the in- structions contained in this booklet. ATTENTION Directive 2002/96/EC (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment - WEEE): information for users This product complies with EU Directive 2002/96/EC. The crossed-out wastebasket sym- bol on the appliance means that at the end of its useful lifespan, the pro- duct must be disposed of separately from ordinary household wastes. The user is responsible for delivering the ap- pliance to an appropriate collection facility at the end of its useful lifespan. Appropriate separate collection to permit recycling, treatment and environmentally compatible disposal helps prevent negative impact on the environment and human health and promotes recycling of the materials making up the product. For more information on available collection facilities, contact your local waste collection service or the shop where you bought this appliance. UNPACKING ♦ Remove the appliance from the packaging, checking that the product is whole and that all the parts are there. CHARGING APPLIANCE The appliance is not supplied with the battery charged, therefore please charge the product before use. To charge the appliance, proceed as follows: ♦ Connect the power supply plug (J) to the special socket (F) of the appliance. ♦ Insert the power supply plug (J) to a suita- ble power socket. ♦ The charging / operating LED (D) will start flashing red. When the LED (D) turns a steady green (after about 2 1/2 hours), the appliance is charged and ready for use. Note: - When the battery is discharged, the ap- pliance will stop working and the LED (D) will be off. - A full battery recharge makes it possible to clean up to 80 m2 of surface. VAPORISER (L) (*) ASSEMBLY ♦ Unscrew the sprayer (L1) from the bottle (L2). ♦ Insert the washing support (N) into the sprayer (L1) and lock it with the fastening ring (M) (Fig. 7 - 8 - 9). ♦ Insert the cloth (K) and lock it with the Vel- cro (Fig. 10). FILLING ♦ Fill the bottle (L2) with water and possibly non-foaming glass detergent that is com- monly available on the market. ♦ Tighten the sprayer (L1) including the wa- shing support with the cloth, to the bottle. USE ♦ Spray the surface to be cleaned and cleanse with the cloth. ♦ Run the appliance over the area as shown in the Chapter “Use”. (*) Only for Model AG130.FORZASPIRA AG100 - AG130

ENGLISH USE ♦ Assemble the 28 cm window cleaning frame. (B) or the small 17 cm window clea- ning frame (O)*, based on the size of the surface to be cleaned, to the base until it is hooked (Fig. 2). ♦ Clean the window. ♦ Turn on the appliance by moving the switch forward (E) (Fig. 3). The operating/recharge (D) LED will turn on. ♦ Place the window cleaning frame on the up- per part of the window and using a slight pressure move downward (Fig. 4). ♦ Once the cleaning operation is finished, turn off the appliance by moving the switch backward (E). (*) Only for Model AG130.

EMPTYING THE DIRT COLLECTION

TANK When the Max level of dirty water is reached in the tank (I), it must be emptied as follows: ♦ Turn the appliance off. ♦ Pull the tank stopper (H) (Fig. 5). ♦ Tilt the tank so that the dirty water can come out (Fig. 6). ♦ Replace the tank stopper. ♦ Resume cleaning operations.

WARNING: If the maximum filling level is

exceeded, small quantities of water can leak out of the ventilation slots. Always empty the tank before the maximum filling level is reached.

CARE OF YOUR APPLIANCE

• Before performing any maintenance operation, make sure that the appliance is off and/or disconnected from the mains.

• To clean the body of the appliance, simply use a moist cloth. Do not use solvents or detergents which may harm the body mate- rial.

• The cloths provided can be washed by fol- lowing the instructions included on the label.

CLEANING OF THE WINDOW CLEANING

♦ Release the window cleaning frame and re- move it from the base (Fig. 11). ♦ Rinse the frame (B) - (O)* under running water and let it dry. (*) Only for Model AG130. CLEANING THE TANK UNIT (J) ♦ Remove the tank unit (I) (Fig.12), empty it (see paragraph “Empty water from tank”). Unscrew the tank stopper w/filter (I2) and squeeze it (Fig. 13), after which rinse all the components under running water and let them dry. TROUBLESHOOTING

ENGLISH WARRANTY This appliance is for domestic use only and is guaranteed for two years from the date of pur- chase against any defects present at the time the goods are handed over; the date of pur- chase must be proven via a proof of purchase document valid for tax purposes and issued by the seller. For repairs, the appliance must be accompa- nied by proof of purchase. This warranty does not affect the consumer ri- ghts deriving from European Directive 99/44/EC as regards some aspects of sale and warranty of consumer goods, rights whi- ch the consumer should uphold with respect to the seller. This warranty is valid in the countries which adhere to European Directive 99/44/EC. For other countries, local regulations on warran- ties apply.

WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS

During the warranty, Polti guarantees free re- pair of a product with a manufacturing or fac- tory defect and, therefore, the client is not lia- ble to pay for any work or materials. In case of irreparable defects, Polti may repla- ce the product free of charge. To avail of the warranty, the customer should visit one of the Polti Authorised Service Cen- tres with proof of purchase from the seller va- lid for tax purposes and bearing the date of purchase of the product. Without proof of pur- chase and the relative date of purchase, the work will be charged for. Store the proof of purchase document safely for the whole dura- tion of the warranty.

• Any fault or damage not deriving from a manufacturing defect.

• Any fault due to improper use or use other than that indicated in the instruction book- let, an integral part of the product sales contract.

• Any defect resulting from force majeure (fires, short circuits) or caused by third parties (tampering).

• Damage caused by the use of non-origi- nal Polti parts, and repairs or modifica- tions performed by staff or service centres not authorised by Polti.

• Damage caused by the customer.

• Parts (filter, brush, hose, battery, etc.) da- maged by use (consumable goods) or normal wear and tear.

• Any damage caused by limescale.

• Defects resulting from lack of mainte- nance/cleaning according to the manufac- turer’s instructions.

• Assembly of non-original Polti accesso- ries or those that have been modified or which are not suitable for the appliance. Inappropriate use and/or use not compliant with the instructions for use and any other warnings or indications contained in this ma- nual invalidates the warranty. Polti takes no responsibility for any direct or indirect damage to people, objects or animals caused by non-compliance with the instruc- tions indicated in this instruction booklet, re- garding warnings for use and product mainte- nance.
