USER MANUAL PH120S MPMAN

Installation of SIM card:

This phone is dual sim card.

Ensure mobile phone is switched off. The mains power adaptor should not be plugged into the mains power supply and not plugged into the mobile phone.

  • Remove the back cover from the mobile phone by pushing down on the back cover and sliding the cover off.
  • Remove the battery by lifting the bottom edge.
  • Carefully slide the SIM card into the holder with the gold connectors face down and angled corner bottom right.
  • The battery can then be replaced by aligning the gold connectors on the battery with those on the mobile phone.Push the top end of the battery down until it clicks into place.
  • Replace the back cover by placing it flat on the back of the mobile phone and sliding up until it clicks into place.

Note: The SIM card and its contacts can be damaged easily by scratches or bending, so handle the card carefully. keep out of the reach of young children.

Battery Awareness:

  • Use only batteries and chargers approved by the manufacturer and unplug the charger when not in use.
  • Don't leave the battery connected to the charger for more than 24 hours. Overcharging may shorten its life.
  • If left unused, a charged battery will discharge itself over time.

To charge the battery:

  • Connect the mobile phone adaptor lead firmly into the socket on the side of the handset.
  • Plug the mobile phone adaptor lead into the mains power supply socket. A large battery indicator bar scrolls on the display and stops scrolling when fully charged. Charging the battery fully may take up to 5 hours initially. If the phone doesn't start to charge, disconnect the charger and retry. If charging still fails, contact the help line.
  • Disconnect the mobile phone adaptor from the mains power supply socket.
  • Disconnect the mobile phone adaptor from the mobile phone.
  • Do not charge the battery with the back cover removed.

  • Operating your mobile phone may interfere with medical devices like hearing aids and pacemakers.
  • Pls strictly observe restrictions on the use of wireless devices.

Function menu

1. Phonebook

The phone offers two memory banks: the SIM card and mobile phone, mobile phone's storage capacity is 200, the storage capacity of the SIM card is decided by the type of SIM card. User can edit the name, telephone number no matter they save number to SIM card or Mobile phone memory.

1.1contact

Select any number in the phone book list will have the following options:

  • Call: Call of the number
    View: View detailed information on the number
  • Send text message: send a message to the number
  • Edit: Edit the number
  • Delete: delete the number
  • Copy: copy the number to phone or SIM card
  • Add to blacklist: Add number to the black list.
  • Phonebook settings: set speed dial numbers and memory status to store numbers.

2 messaging

New messages will not be received if the messages' capacity is full. Messages will be stored in the SIM card or mobile phone directly if messages' capacity is not full. There will be a blinking icon in the top of main screen to show SMS is full. New SMS can be received again if some SMS have been deleted to free some space.

2.1 Write Message

Messaging write message to edit SMS.There will be five options as following:

  • Send to: send a message to the corresponding recipient.
  • Input method: set the language need to edit.
  • Insert template: selectable built-in templates to send SMS.
  • Advanced: you can insert number or name from the phonebook.
  • Save: you can save the SMS you edited.

2.2 Inbox

Messaging Inbox, you can view inbox SMS has been received with following options:

View: view the received message.
- Reply: You can reply SMS to the sender.
- call sender:call SMS sender
- Forward: to forward this message to others.
- Delete: Delete the current SMS.
- Delete All: Delete all SMS in the Inbox.
- Save to phonebook:Add the number in the phonebook list.

2.3 Drafts

Into the Drafts, you can view the message stored in the Drafts.There are five options as following :View, send,edit,delete,delete all.

2.4 Outbox

Into the Outbox, you can view the message with five options as following: view, resend, edit, delete, delete all.

2.5 SMS template

Into the template, you can use,edit or remove the template contents to the message interface.

2.6 SMS setting

·SIM

  • SMSC address:setting the number of the SMS center
  • Delivery report: setting the switch of SMS report
  • Reply path: setting the switch of reply path
  • Voice Mail server: Each SIM card can set voice mail number in the settings. This function should be supported by the network operator.
  • Memory status: The memory status of SIM card and the phone are visible.
  • Save sent message: setting the switch of the storage of sent messages.
  • Preferred storage: setting the preferred position of the storage of SMS.

3 Call center

3.1 Call history

  • Missed calls:enter the missed calls, you can view the list of missed calls.
  • Dialed calls:enter the dialed calls, you can view the list of dialed calls.
  • Received calls:enter the received calls, you can view the list of received calls.
  • All calls: enter all calls, you can view the list of missed calls, dialed calls and received calls.
  • Delete call logs: You can choose to delete all the call records.

3.2 Call settings

Enter call settings, you will see three options: SIM 1 call settings, SIM 2 call settings and Advanced settings:

3.2.1 SIM 1 and SIM 2 call settings:

Calling waiting: you can activate, deactivate, query status. Note: This function depends on the network operator. Please ask the local network operator for more detail.

Call divert: The options are "Divert all voice calls", "Divert if unreachable", "Divert if no answer", "Divert if busy", "Divert all data calls", "Cancel all diverts". Note: This function depends on the network operator. Please ask the local network operator for more detail.

Call barring:There are four options as following:'Outgoing calls','Incoming calls', 'Cancel all', 'Change barring password'

  • Outgoing calls: the options are "All voice calls", "International voice calls", "International voice calls except to home", you can

Activate,Deactivate,Query status this three options with a password .

  • Incoming calls: the options are "All voice calls", "Voice calls when roaming", you can Activate, Deactivate, Query status this three options with a password.
  • "Cancel all":you can cancel all with a password under the network operator.
  • "Change barring password": input old password first and then enter new password to operate the change barring password.

Note: This function depends on the network operator. Please ask the local network operator for more detail.

3.2.2 Advanced setting:

  • Blacklist:you can see "Reject numbers in blacklist"and"Blacklist numbers"
  • Auto radial: Able to open or close the function of auto radial. When it's on, the phone shall redial automatically after you failed dialing.

  • Call time reminder: you have three options of call time reminder 'off' 'Single' 'Periodic'

  • Answer mode: you have two options to answer the calling by pressing 'any key' or 'auto answer when headset mode'

4. Multimedia

4.1 Image viewer

You can view photos you saved in the image viewer and save them as background image. Six options are available in the next menu as following:

  • View: you can display image here.
  • Send: Send photo by Bluetooth or MMS.
  • Use as: set selected photo as wallpaper or power on/off display.
  • Rename: Change the name of the selected photo.
  • Delete: Delete the selected photo.
  • Image information: Review photo for details.

4.2 Video player

  • you send see video from micro SD card with AVI, 3GP, MP4 format.

4.3Audio player

With the mobile phone you can listen to music files you have saved with mp3 format. There are seven shortcuts in the music player interface as following:

Key 5: play or pause music by pressing key 5

Key 2&8: change play mode of music by pressing key 2&8

Key 4&6: play previous song by pressing key 4, play next song by pressing key 6

Key &&: decrease volume by pressing key ,increase volume by pressing key#

Music player interface, press "list" to enter the list of all the songs interface. There are four options when you select a song as following:

Play:play the selected music
Details:the details of selected music
Refresh list: refresh the list of music
Settings:Options to play music in the list, update playlists and more.

  • List auto generate: It will generate playlist automatically when it is on. You can add or remove music files when it is off.
  • Repeat: You can repeat one song or all songs or no songs repeat by options 'off' 'one' 'all'.
  • shuffle: play music randomly or not by options 'on' 'off'.
  • Background play: play music or not when it is not in the audio player interface by options 'on' and 'off'.

4.4 Sound recorder

New record:Start recording.

Play:Play a selected record.

List: the list of recordings.

Settings: You can set the audio quality low or high.

4.5 FM radio

If no headsets are connected to the mobile phone, radio will be played through the speaker. There are shortcuts when you are in the FM interface as following:

Key 4&6: search channel automatically.

Key 2&8: search channel by hand.

Key 5: play or pause FM play.

Three options in the FM interface as following:

  • Channel list: Edit channel name and frequency.
  • Manual input:write down channels by hand..
  • Auto search: auto search FM channels and you can choose save or not after auto search channels.
    Note: FM reception quality and quantity depend on the specific location.

5 Organizer

5.1 SOS setting

5.1.1 SOS

  • During idle mode, press and hold the SOS button on the phone for a few seconds to start the emergency call operation.
  • The phone will send an emergency SMS to any programmed emergency numbers 1&2&3&4&5, and it outputs an emergency ring(siren)from the speaker during the SMS sending.
  • The siren stops when SMS sending is completed.
  • The phone then makes a call to the first programmed emergency number SOS no.1.If SOS no.1 is busy or out of area or not answered within 1 minute, it will try SOS no.2 and then SOS no.3&4&5.If it still does not get through it will repeat the call steps up to 10 times.

5.1.2 SOS setting

  • SOS number setting: set 5 emergency numbers.
  • SOS SMS Content :edit the emergency message content.
  • Select the object of SMS: choose the number to send SMS when pressing SOS button.
  • Call waiting time: set call waiting time after long press the SOS button.

  • Open: Go to the next level of the folder list interface
  • Format: to format the current memory.
  • Details: view the memory space information.

6 Settings

Main menu-->Settings, Seven options as following:.

6.1 Profile

This phone provides a General mode, silent Mode, Meeting mode and Outdoor mode.

6.1.1 General mode

For each profile, you can enter "customize" to operate the following options:

  • Alert type: four rings prompted way of ringing: Ring only, vibration only, vibration& ring ,vibration then ring.
  • Ring tone: Set a ringing tone.
  • Ring tone volume: with the number keys 4 and 6 to set the power ring volume size.
  • Message: Set the Message tone.
  • Message volume: with the number keys 4 and 6 to set the key Message volume size.
  • Keypad: You can select the "silent" click "tone".
  • Key tone volume: with the number keys 4 and 6 to set the key volume size.

6.5 Security Settings

6.5.1 SIM Security

  • SIM 1 security, there are three options: PIN lock/Change PIN/Change PIN2
  • SIM 2 security:same as SIM 1
  • Phone security :The phone lock can prevent your phone from unauthorized use.

  • Phone lock can be on/off .

  • Change password: you can change phone lock password. The default phone lock code is 1122.

  • Screen auto lock: Set screen auto lock time to off/15 secs /30 secs /1 min /5mins

6.6 Connectivity

Bluetooth

  • Power: turn on or off Bluetooth.
  • Visibility: Setting the visibility of Bluetooth. Other phones can not search this phone when it is off till it is on.
  • My device: Searching turn-on bluetooth devices nearby.
  • My name: The name shows on other phones when Bluetooth is on and the phone is searched.

You can restore the phone to factory setting here by phone lock code :1122.

Note: The default phone lock code is 1122, you should change your PIN.
