How to charge the Brandt BBTS1100 speaker?

Use the provided USB cable and plug it into a power adapter (not included) or a USB port. Connect it to the micro USB port on the speaker. The red light turns on during charging and turns off when the battery is fully charged.

How to connect the speaker via Bluetooth?

Turn on the speaker with the power switch. It automatically enters pairing mode: the Bluetooth indicator flashes. On your Bluetooth source, enable Bluetooth and search for 'BBTS-1100'. Select it to pair. If a password is requested, enter '0000'.

What to do if the Bluetooth password is requested?

During pairing, if a password is requested, enter 0000 (four zeros).

How to use the hands-free mode?

When the speaker is connected to a phone via Bluetooth, press the Answer/End button to answer or end a call. The built-in microphone allows hands-free calling.

How to connect a device to the AUX input?

In Bluetooth mode, plug a 3.5 mm audio cable into the AUX-IN input on the speaker. Bluetooth is automatically paused and the AUX-IN indicator lights red. Adjust the volume on the speaker; other controls are on the external device. To return to Bluetooth, unplug the AUX cable.

How to use the AUX output?

In Bluetooth mode, plug a 3.5 mm audio cable into the AUX-OUT output on the speaker and connect the other end to an external amplifier. This allows you to listen to music with amplified sound.

Ventilation

Allow at least a 10cm gap all around the product.

The venti on should not be impeded by covering the ven laioniopenings with items, such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.

This apparatus is not suitable for use in a tropical climate.

The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.

Batteries (battery pack or baeries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.

BATTERY HANDLING AND USAGE

The product is supplied with one rechargeable Lithium 3.7V 600mAh battery incorporated in the product which is not accessible and cannot be replaced. Therefore when the product reaches the end of its useful life it must be disposed of at a recycling centre.

USB cable

When the USB cable is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

The marking plate is located at the bottom of the apparatus.

The speaker has a built-in rechargeable Lithium battery.

Use the provided USB cable to charge the speaker. The charging indicator light will illuminate red. The red indicator light will go out when the speaker is fully charged.

CONNECTING WIRELESSLY

1. Switch on the unit.

2. The speaker will automatically enter pairing mode and the Bluetooth indicator light will flash.

3. To pair, go to Bluetooth settings on your Bluetooth device and connect to "BBTS-1100".

4. Enter "0000" if asked for a passcode.

Mode Status
Bluetooth pairing	Blue indicator light will flash quickly.
Paired	Blue indicator light will stop flashing and music will be heard. NOTE: Once the Bluetooth device is connected for the firsttime, the speaker will remember the paired setting and will automatically reconnect to the same Bluetooth device the next time they are in range.

SPEAKERPHONE

Use the speaker as a portable speakerphone when connected wirelessly via Bluetooth.

Adjust the volume as desired by repeatedly pressing

To pause, press. To resume play, press again.

NOTE:

• When you want to play audio/video from another Bluetooth device, disconnect the speaker from the Bluetooth device already in use.
• To terminate the Bluetooth connection, press and hold for about 3 seconds. A beep will be heard and the Bluetooth indictor light will flash quickly.

HANDS-FREE FUNCTION

If you want to answer/end a call when listening to Bluetooth device via the speaker, press

AUX IN

In Bluetooth mode, connect an audio cable with 3.5 ~mm plug from an auxiliary audio device to the AUX IN jack of the unit.

The system will automatically pause the Bluetooth mode and the AUX IN indicator light will illuminate red.

The volume can be controlled through the unit. Operate other functions on the external device as usual.

To enter Bluetooth mode again, disconnect the audio cable from the unit.

AUX OUT

In Bluetooth mode, connect an audio cable with 3.5mm plug from other power amplifier equipment to the AUX OUT jack of the unit.

You can enjoy the amplified music.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the unit with a soft slightly damp cloth and wipe it with a dry cloth.

Never immerse it in water.

Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaning agents.
