How to install the air conditioner without drilling a hole?
Simply attach the exhaust hose to the back of the unit, then place the window adapter in a slightly open window. Use the suction cups or the block to keep the window slightly open. Make sure the hose is not bent.
How often should the filters be cleaned?
The antibacterial filter should be cleaned weekly with a vacuum or lukewarm water (max 40°C). The white Filtrete™ filter should be replaced at the end of the season. Do not wash the Filtrete™.
What to do if the unit is not cooling enough?
Check that windows and doors are closed, the exhaust hose is not obstructed or bent, the filters are clean, and no heat sources (direct sunlight, appliances) are present. If the problem persists, the unit may be underpowered for the room.
How to set the on/off timer?
On the remote control, press ON to set the start time: the time flashes, adjust with the arrows, confirm with SET. For stop, use OFF. To cancel, press CANCEL. Programming restores the last settings.
What does the Full Auto function mean?
Full Auto mode automatically selects the operating mode (cooling, dehumidification, fan) and fan speed based on the ambient temperature to provide optimal comfort without manual intervention.
How to use the Sleep function?
Select the desired mode (cool, heat, etc.), set the temperature, then press the Sleep button. Then press it multiple times to choose the number of hours of operation (1 to 7). The temperature gradually changes for comfortable sleep.
How to replace the remote control batteries?
Press the grooved part of the cover and push forward to open. Insert two AAA (LR03) batteries observing the + and - polarities. Close the cover. If the display is dim, replace the batteries.
Why are the three indicators flashing?
The three flashing indicators indicate that the condensation tank is full. Empty the tank located at the back of the unit and reinstall it. If the flashing persists, contact customer service.
How to drain the condensation water?
Unplug the unit. Remove the drain plug at the back to empty the water from the tank. You can also use the drain hose for continuous drainage. Replace the plug after draining.
Can the unit be used for heating in winter?
Yes, the Pinguino PAC F 16 has a heating function (heat pump). Place the plug instead of the exhaust hose so that warm air remains in the room. The maximum outdoor operating temperature is about 21°C.
