USER MANUAL AntiCalc 7700B TERMOZETA
- Non immergete mai l’apparecchio in acqua o in altre sostanze liquide.• • • ENGLISH SAFETY PRESCRIPTIONS The present manual is an integral part of the appliance and must be carefully read before using it as it gives important indications with regard to safety of installation, use and maintenance. Keep it with care.
- After taking off the packing make sure that the appliance is intact. In case of doubt do not use it and contact an assistance centre authorised by TERMOZETA.
- Do not leave pieces of packing (plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails etc.) within reach of children or persons with reduced mental capacities since these are potential sources of danger.
- The electrical safety of this appliance is ensured only if it is correctly connected to an effective earthing system in compliance with the existing electrical safety standards. TERMOZETA shall not be held responsible for any damage caused by the lack of an earthing system.
- Before connecting the plug to the outlet check that the working voltage of the appliance corresponds to the one in your house. If in doubt, contact professionally qualified staff.
- Use of adaptors, multiple outlets and extension leads is not advisable. In case of need use exclusively approved appliances in conformity with the current safety regulations while making sure that they are compatible with the appliance power. If in doubt, contact professionally qualified staff.
- Any installation which doesn’t comply with what is specified can endanger your safety and the warranty expires.
- The appliance must only be used to iron fabrics for domestic purposes.
- For safety reasons pay attention and: - do not use the appliance when you are barefoot or having wet hands or feet - do not use the appliance outside the domestic environment - do not leave the appliance exposed to atmospheric agents (sun, rain, etc.) - never pull the power cord or the appliance itself in order to disconnect the plug from the outlet - do not leave the appliance unattended when it is plugged into the main power supply - never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids
- The appliance is not intended for being used by people (including children) whose physical, sensorial or mental capacities arereduced, or who are lacking in experience or knowledge, unlessthey can benefit from the presence of someone who is responsiblefor their safety and who is provided with the instructions for use.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- The power cord of the appliance should never be replaced by the user himself. In case of necessity contact an assistance centre authorised by TERMOZETA or professionally qualified staff.
- In case of failure and/or malfunctioning of the appliance, turn it off and do not tamper with it. For any repairs contact an assistance centre authorised by TERMOZETA and ask for the use of original spare parts.
- At the end of the life cycle of the appliance, put it out of service by cutting the power cord after disconnecting the plug from the outlet. For the disposal of the appliance follow the regulations which are valid in your place of residence.
- TERMOZETA cannot be considered responsible for any damage to persons, animals or things caused by the incorrect installation or as a result of an illegitimate, mistaken or unreasonable use.
- Before and during use, make sure that the work surface is stable and heat resistant.
- Never leave the iron unattended when it is plugged into the power supply outlet.
- Do not use the iron if it has accidentally been dropped or if it has visible signs of water loss.PRESCRIPCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
- Always proceed with this operation with the plug disconnected from the current socket.
- Make sure that the steam adjustment command (4) is in the position of dry ironing (see chart A).
- Open the cover (2) and fill the tank through the appropriate hole w ithout exceeding MAX level (11) indicated on the tank itself. Don’t ever put inside the tank any perfumed substances.
- Close the cover (2). Advice: If water if your area is particularly calcareous it is advisable to use distilled water. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- Check that the steam adjustment command (4) is in the position of dry ironing (see chart A).
- Completely unroll the feeling cable (7), put the iron in a vertical position and connect the plug to the current socket.
- With the temperature adjustment knob (9) select the temperature suitable for the type of fabric to iron (see chart B).
- Thermostat indicator (8) switches on and will switch off when the plate has reached the selected temperature. At this point the iron is ready for use. Importante:
- Before and during use, make sure that the work surface is stable and heat resistant.
- Never leave the iron unattended when it is plugged into the power supply outlet.
- Do not use the iron if it has accidentally been dropped or if it has visible signs of water loss. Advice:
- Iron firstly more delicate fabrics which require low temperature and then more resistant ones which require higher temperature;
- • Ironing at medium temperature (wool, silk)
- Always proceed with this operation with the plug disconnected from the current socket.
- Make sure that the steam adjustment command (4) is in the position of dry ironing (see chart A).
- Open the cover (2) and fill the tank through the appropriate hole without exceeding MAX level (11) indicated on the tank itself. Don’t ever put inside the tank any perfumed substances.
- Close the cover (2). Advice: If water if your area is particularly calcareous it is advisable to use distilled water. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

- Before starting with ironing pass the iron over a small internal area of your item of clothing to make sure that the selected temperature is suitable for that type of fabric.
- Fill the tank with water.
- Through the steam adjustment command (4) choose the desired steam supply (see chart A). Note
- When the iron is placed vertically during the ironing pauses the steam supply is automatically cut off.
- When used for the first time, some water drops can come out together with the steam. This is to be considered normal. Before ironing you clothing do some tests on an old cloth. DRY IRONING
- Put the steam adjustment command (4) in position of dry ironing. SPRAY FUNCTION
- This function allows to wet the clothing during both steam and dry ironing.
- To activate it push several time the spray button (6) e direct the water jet onto the most resistant creases. SUPER-STEAM FUNCTION
- Push several the super steam button (5): the iron will supply an instantaneous high power steam jet. Note:
- Don’t consecutively push the button too many times to avoid coming of non steamed water drops.
- Use this function only with the temperature adjustment knob (9) set up to the steam function.
- When the super steam is used for the first time, some limestone scales could come out so we advise you not to discharge the first steam jets directly onto the clothing. VERTICAL IRONING To “liven up” the clothes hung on coat hangers, curtains etc. you can vertically use the iron:
- Set the temperature adjustment knob (9) on Max indication.
- Hold the iron in vertical position at a distance of about 15-20 cm from the fabric.
- Push the super steam button (5) several times. Note:
- Don’t consecutively push the button too many times respecting the pauses of some seconds between one operation and another after. Important:
- Don’t use this function on fabrics made of synthetic fibres.
- Maintain an adequate distance between the fabric and the ironing plate to avoid burnings.
- Use this function exclusively on clothes hung on coat hangers. Don’t ever try to iron the clothes worn by a person: the steam is very hot, you could cause serious burning. SELF-CLEANING SYSTEM Your iron is supplied with a self-cleaning system which allows to reduce the formation of limestone deposits. In order that it produces its benefits it is necessary to regularly effectuate the operation, al least once a month. Proceed as following:
In accordance with European Directives 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/ CE and 2003/108/CE on the restriction of the use of dangerous substances in electric and electronic equipment as well as their waste disposal.
- The barred symbol of the rubbish bin shown on the equipment indicates that, at the end of its useful life, the product must be collected separately from other waste.
- Therefore, any products that have reached the end of their useful life must be given to waste disposal centres specialising in separate collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment, or given back to the retailer at the time of purchasing new similar equipment, on a one for one basis.
- The adequate separate collection for the subsequent start-up of the equipment sent to be recycled, treated and disposal of in an environmentally compatible way contributes to preventing possible negative effects on the environment and health and optimises the recycling and reuse of components making up the apparatus.
- Abusive disposal of the product by the user involves application of the administrative sanctions according to the laws in force. - Set the dry ironing function.
- Fill up the tank up to MAX level
- Make the iron function as normal bringing the plate to the maximum temperature.
- Disconnect the plug from the current socket when the iron is ready.
- Holding down the self-cleaning button (10) wag the iron in horizontal position, above a sink or a basin. Let the tank get empty.The water-steam mixture will eliminate a part of limestone residues present in the plate.
- Afterwards connect the plug to the current socket and moving the iron above an old cloth, eliminate all the residue water present in the plate.. Important:
- Pay attention not to get in contact with the water that is comes out from the plate since it is bowling and you could get burned. Note:
- Before re-using the iron to iron the clothing, pass the cold plate on a dry cotton cloth. AFTER USE
- Disconnect the plug from the current socket.
- Always put the steam adjustment command (4) in dry ironing position.
- Leave the iron to completely cool down.
- Place the iron in vertical position.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before effectuating any cleaning operation, disconnect the plug from the current socket and wait until the iron is completely cooled down.
- Clean the body of the iron only with a soft and dry cloth.
- Regularly clean the plate using a normal non abrasive sponge in order not to ruin the plate surface.
- Don’t use chemical or abrasive substances.
- Don’t ever emerge the appliance in water or other liquid substances.
- This booklet is an integral part of the appliance and must be carefully read before use, since it provides important information on the installation, safety, use and maintenance of the appliance. Keep in a safe place.
- Make sure the appliance is in good condition when you unpack it. In case of doubt do not use it and contact a TERMOZETA authorized Service Centre.
- Do not leave parts of packaging (plastic bags, foam polystyrene, nails, etc.) within reach of children or incapable persons as they are potential sources of danger.
- The electrical safety of this appliance is only assured if it has been connected correctly to an efficient earthed system as provided by electricity safety norms presently in force. Termozeta shall not be held liable for eventual damages deriving from failure to connect the electrical installation to an earthed system.
- Make sure the data on the appliance rating plate corresponds to that of the main power supply and of your electrical system before plugging into the outlet. In case of doubt, contact professionally qualified personnel.
- It is not advisable to use adapters, multiple plugs and extensions. Use devices certified and conforming to existing safety standards only should it be absolutely necessary, making sure they are compatible with your electrical system and with the appliance technical data.
- Any installations not conforming to instructions may endanger your safety and forfeit the guarantee.
- The appliance is exclusively designed for domestic use for ironing fabrics.
- For safety’s sake be careful: - not to use the appliance with bare feet or wet hands or feet - not to use the appliance away from home - not to leave the appliance exposed to atmospheric agents (sun, rain …) - not to let children or incapable persons use the appliance - never to tug on the lead or the appliance itself to unplug from the outlet - not to leave the appliance plugged into the main power supply unattended - never to submerge the appliance in water or in other liquids.
- The user must not replace the power cable. Contact a TERMOZETA authorized Service Centre or professionally qualified person in case of need.
- Switch off and do not mishandle the appliance if it should break down and/or work badly. Contact a TERMOZETA authorized Service Centre for eventual repairs asking for original spare parts.
- Put the appliance out of service at the end of its service life by cutting off the power cable after unplugging from the outlet. Abide by local existing rules and regulations for its disposal.
- Termozeta may not be held liable for eventual damages to persons, animals or objects caused by incorrect installation or deriving from improper, erroneous or unreasonable use.
