A B B B A Pure Wind / PURE WIND PLUSmaximises aircirculation, improving the efficiency of theevaporator and helping to achieve the optimaltemperature inside the refrigerator as quickly aspossible each time it has been opened. The blownair (A) is cooled when it comes into contact with thecold wall, whereas the hotter air (B) is sucked up (

). The back wall may be covered in frost or droplets ofwater, depending on whether the compressor is inoperation or whether it is paused. If the TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT knob has beenset on high values with large quantities of food andwith a high ambient temperature, the appliance canoperate continuously, resulting in excessive frostformation and excessive energy consumption:compensate for this by shifting the knob towardslower values (defrosting will occur automatically). Using the refrigerator to its full

potential • Use the REFRIGERATOR OPERATION knob toadjust the temperature ( see Description

). • Press the SUPER COOL button (rapid cooling) tolower the temperature quickly. For example, whenyou place a large number of new food items insidea fridge the internal temperature will rise slightly. The function quickly cools the groceries bytemporarily reducing the temperature until itreaches the ideal level.• Place only cold or lukewarm foods in thecompartment, not hot foods ( see Precautions and

). • Remember that cooked foods do not last longerthan raw foods.• Do not store liquids in open containers. They willincrease humidity in the refrigerator and causecondensation to form.SHELVES: with or without grill.Due to the special guides theshelves are removable andthe height is adjustable ( see

diagram ), allowing easystorage of large containersand food. Height can beadjusted without completeremoval of the shelf.

GB Using the freezer to its full potential

• Do not re-freeze food that is defrosting or that has

already been defrosted. These foods must be cooked

and eaten (within 24 hours).

• Fresh food that needs to be frozen must not come into

contact with food that has already been defrosted. Fresh

food must be stored in the top FREEZER and STORAGE

compartment where the temperature drops below -18°C

and guarantees rapid freezing.

• Do not place glass bottles which contain liquids, and

which are corked or hermetically sealed in the freezer

because they could break.

• The maximum quantity of food that may be frozen daily is

indicated on the plate containing the technical properties

located on the bottom left side of the refrigerator

compartment (for example: Kg/24h: 4).

• To freeze (if the freezer is already operating):

- for small quantities which are less than those indicated on

the data plate, press the rapid freezing SUPER FREEZE

button (corresponding yellow indicator light illuminates),

insert the food and close the door. The function is disabled

automatically after 24 hours or when optimal temperatures

have been reached (indicator light goes out);

- for large quantities which are greater than the maximum

load indicated on the data plate, hold down the rapid

freezing SUPER FREEZE button until the corresponding

indicator light begins to flash. After 24 hours the indicator

light stops flashing and remains on constantly. Place the

food inside the freezer and close the door. After another 24

hours, the function will be disabled automatically (indicator

In order to obtain a greater amount of space in the

freezer compartment, you may remove the bins

(except the lowest bin and the special COOL CARE ZONE bin, which has an adjustable temperature)

and place the food directly onto the evaporator

! Do not open the door during freezing.

! If there is a power cut or malfunction, do not open the

freezer door. This will help maintain the temperature

inside the freezer, ensuring that foods are conserved for

at least 9 -14 hours.GB
