  • After having removed the appliance from its packaging, verify its integrity based on the drawing and any presence of damage caused by transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact an authorised service centre.

For the appliance features, refer to the external packaging. Use the supplied accessories only. USEfUL TIPS A quick understanding of how to use the hair straightener will allow you to establish the exact application time to achieve the desired eect on your hair.

  • Ensure your hair is dry, clean and without any trace of hairspray, hair mousse or gel.
  • Comb your hair ensuring there are no knots.
  • Start straightening from the nape of the neck, proceed on the sides and nish on the forehead.
  • When using the hair straightener, while it is heating or cooling, place it on a smooth and heat resistant surface.
  • While straightening the hair, be careful not to bring the plates too close to sensitive parts of the face, ears, neck or skin.
  • Leave the plates to cool down completely when nished, before putting the appliance away.EN

When you have nished using the hair straightener, make sure the appliance has completely cooled down before placing it back in its case (or any bag). This appliance is not intended to curl hair, accordingly it must not be turned during use. USE

  • Wash hair as normal and comb to remove knots.
  • Dry your hair and brush from the roots to the ends. OPERATION
  • Connect the power cable (3) to the mains.
  • Switch on the ON/OFF button (5) and let the straightener heat up; the LCD display (1) will light up.
  • Select the desired temperature by using the adjustment button + or – (6). It is possible to choose the temperature according to the type of hair and desired styling in a range between 130 and 230 °C. The temperature can be adjusted at any time by pressing the adjustment buttons.
  • Press the + and - buttons (6) simultaneously to block the temperature at the desired level. The “lock” symbol will appear on the LCD display (1).
  • Use your ngers to take a thin lock of hair, the same width as the heating plates, and place it between the plates (7).
  • Keep the lock of hair taut with one hand and, with the other hand, slide the closed plate from the roots down to the ends.
  • Once you have nished straightening, switch the appliance o from the ON/OFF button (5) and disconnect the power supply plug (3) from the socket. ATTENTION! Steam may appear while straightening; this is excess humidity in the hair evaporating. NOTE: contact an authorised technical service centre if two lights flash at the same time in the temperature box, as this means the product is having operating problems.EN

CLEANING Clean the heating plates (7) and the handle only with a soft, damp cloth:

  • Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
  • Make sure the plates (7) are cool.
  • Clean the surface and let it dry. ATTENTION! Make sure all cleaned parts are completely dry before reusing the appliance! DISPOSAL The product is packaged in recyclable materials. Dispose of it in compliance with the environmental protection standards. The appliance must be disposed of in compliance with the provisions of EU standard 2002/96/EC at the end of its life cycle. This regards recycling useful substances in the appliance, which reduces environmental impact. For further information contact the local waste authority or the appliance retailer.
