Instruction for use

Before first use, remove all packaging materials from the unit. Check inside toaster slots for packaging/stickers and remove. Note: Do not place any bread in toaster during the first toasting to allow the new elements to preheat and burn off any dust that may accumulate during assembly.

  1. Place the unit on a clean and level surface, and at least 3 inches away from wall.
  2. Unwind the power cord and plug into the mains supply.
  3. Make sure the crumb tray is on place, insert slices of bread. Be sure the bread carriage level is on UP position.
  4. Turn the light/dark selector onto desired position. The higher numbers (1-6), make the darker toast color.
  5. Press the bread carriage level down until it locks into position.
  6. When the toasting cycle is completed the toast is automatically pop up. To cancel the toasting cycle before it is completed, simply press the cancel button.
  7. After use, unplug the toaster from electrical outlet.

Warning:

This appliance is equipped with a grounded, Type G, 3-pin power supply cord. This is a safety feature. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of this plug.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Always unplug the toaster from electrical outlet and allow to cool before cleaning.
  2. Do not use abrasive cleansers. Simply wipe the exterior with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  3. To remove crumbs, slide out the crumb tray and discard crumbs and clean the tray.
  4. To remove any pieces of bread remaining in the toaster, turn the toaster upside down and shake gently.
  5. Never wrap the cord around the outside of the toaster, use the cord storage on the underside of the unit.
