How to install the eufyCam 2C Pro?

First install the HomeBase 2 by connecting it to your router via Ethernet and to power. Download the eufy Security app, create an account, and follow the instructions to add the camera. Choose a location 2-3 meters above the ground, test the signal strength in the app, then mount the camera using the included bracket.

How to pair the camera with the HomeBase 2?

Make sure the HomeBase 2 is powered on and connected to the Internet. On the camera, press the SYNC button until the LED blinks blue. In the eufy Security app, go to 'Add Device' and follow the instructions. The LED turns solid blue when the connection is established.

What is the recommended mounting height?

It is recommended to mount the camera between 2 and 3 meters (7 to 10 feet) above the ground for optimal motion detection. Avoid direct sunlight exposure.

How to recharge the eufyCam 2C Pro?

Remove the camera from its bracket and use the included USB cable to connect it to a power adapter (not included, 5V/2A recommended). The LED turns solid blue during charging and turns off when the battery is full. Charging time is approximately 5 hours.

What to do if the camera does not connect to the network?

Check that the HomeBase 2 is properly connected to the Internet (solid blue LED). Ensure the camera is within range (less than 10 meters) of the HomeBase. Reset the camera by inserting a paperclip into the reset hole for 5 seconds, then retry pairing.

How to reset the eufyCam 2C Pro?

Locate the reset button (hole) on the camera. Use a paperclip or similar tool to press and hold for about 5 seconds until the LED blinks red. The camera will restart and be ready for a new pairing.

In the eufy Security app, go to camera settings, then 'Motion Detection'. You can adjust sensitivity (low, medium, high) and set activity zones to avoid false alerts. Mount the camera at the recommended height for optimal range.

Does the camera work at night?

Yes, it is equipped with infrared LEDs and an LED spotlight for color night vision. Night vision activates automatically in the dark. You can also turn on the spotlight manually via the app.

3 / CONNECTING THE HOMEBASE 2

Connect the HomeBase 2 to the Internet

I. Power on the HomeBase 2, then use the ethernet cable provided to connect the HomeBase 2 to your home router.

1. The LED indicator turns blue (this may take up to 1 min) when HomeBase 2 is ready for setup.

5 / MOUNTING THE CAMERA

Find a Good Mounting Spot

To find a spot to mount eufyCam 2C Pro, you need to test wireless signal strength.

① Open the eufy Security app, go to Camera Settings > Mounting Guide.
(2) To test the wireless signal strength, take your camera and phone to the location where you want to mount the camera.
(3) Move the camera as close to the HomeBase 2 as possible if the wireless.

Select Height and Location

Hang eufyCam 2C Pro 7-10 ft (2-3 m) above the ground. This height maximizes the detection range of the motion sensor of eufyCam 2C Pro. Avoid placing eufyCam 2C Pro under direct sunlight.

Mount the camera

The camera can be mounted both indoors and outdoors.

I. Turn the knob of the mounting bracket clockwise to loosen and disassemble it.

1. Drill holes with a 15/64 inch (5.95mm) drill bit, then insert the anchors into the holes; anchors are necessary for walls that are made out of hard materials such as concrete, brick, or stucco.

Mount the camera

1. Firmly screw the base of the mounting bracket onto the wall. Fasten the ball knob of the bracket to the base of the bracket.

1. Tighten eufyCam 2C Pro to the mounting bracket and adjust the viewing angle by checking the live stream feed in the eufy Security app.

Tips:

I. The Homebase 2 pairs up to 16 cameras, you can repeat the steps mentioned above to add more eufyCam 2C Pro cameras to meet different needs of use.
2. For troubleshooting, check Help on the eufy Security App. Refer to App page for LED indicator status.
