Installation OPTION 1: INSTALLATION - INTO EXISTING JUNCTION BOX 1 Turning off the power a Place the wall switch in the off position. a Turn the power OFF at the switch and fuse box or the circuit breaker. 2 Removing the junction box and spring-loaded clips a Remove the junction box (B) by removing the screw (BB). a Remove the spring-loaded clips (CC) by lifting the white lock and sliding the clips towards the center opening of the mounting plate. Separating the diffuser from the fixture a Turn the diffuser (AA) counter clockwise to remove from the fixture. 4 Installing the mounting screws a Install the mounting screws (E) into existing junction box, leaving them slightly loose. 5 HOMEDEPOT.CA Please contact 1-877-527-0313 for further assistance.
Installation (continued) 5 Connecting the wires a Using the quick connect push terminals (D), connect the ground wire from the fixture (A) to the ground wire from the supply circuit, the black wire from the fixture (A) to the black wire from the supply circuit, and the white wire from the fixture (A) to the white wire from the supply circuit. 6 Selecting the brightness a Use the CCT switch inside the fixture (A) to select your preferred color temperature 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K. a Use the motion sensor switch to choose the intensity, low for smaller rooms, high for larger rooms. 7 Attaching the fixture to the existing junction box in the ceiling a Align the keyholes in the fixture (A) with the mounting screws (E) in existing junction box in the ceiling. a Place the fixture (A) over the mounting screws (E) and rotate clockwise to securely fit to the junction box. Tighten screws to secure.
Installation (continued) 8 Securing the diffuser to the fixture a Lift the diffuser (AA) and aim the lock position of diffuser at the one of the fixture (A). Turn the diffuser clockwise to securely lock into the fixture. a Restore power to the electrical box.
OPTION 2: INSTALLATION — NO JUNCTION BOX REQUIRED
1 Turning off the power a Place the wall switch in the off position. a Turn the power OFF at the switch and fuse box or the circuit breaker. 2 Preparing the installation location a Use the template to mark the desired installation location (if you do not already have an existing hole) Recommendation is to install with the smallest hole size option. a Use a drywall saw to cut the opening marked by the template. ao Mark your anchor holes with the template. a Install the anchors (H). a Remove mounting plate (C) from the fixture (A).

Selecting the brightness Turn the diffuser (AA) counter clockwise to remove from the fixture (A). Use the CCT switch on the back of the fixture (A) to select your preferred color temperature 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K. Use the motion sensor switch to choose the intensity, low for smaller rooms, high for larger rooms. Put the diffuser (AA) back onto the fixture. Installing the mounting plate Adjust the spring-loaded clips to preferred hole size. Install the mounting plate (C) to align screw slots with anchors. Turn the mounting plate clockwise and tighten screws.
Connecting the wires Open the junction box (B) cover and remove the knockout on the top of the panel. Insert the electrical supply cable through the knockout. Using the quick connect push terminals (D), connect the ground wire from the junction box (B) to the ground wire from the supply circuit, the black wire from the junction box (B) to the black wire from the supply circuit, and the white wire from the junction box (B) to the white wire from the supply circuit. Secure the wire in the knockout hole using a cable clamp {not provided). Place all wiring and connections into the junction box (B) and close the cover.
Installation (continued) Attaching the light fixture to the mounting plate ao Holding the assembled light fixture, line up the back plate clips on the light fixture with the 3 mounting plate slots and turn clockwise to secure into place. a For airtight installations, install the foam gasket (G) between the light fixture (A) and the ceiling. Care and Cleaning a To clean the fixture, first disconnect the power to the fixture by turning off the circuit breaker of by removing the fuse at the fuse box. a Use a dry or slightly dampened, clean cloth (use clean water, never use a solvent) to wipe the surface of the fixture. a Allow the fixture to dry completely before power is restored. 9 HOMEDEPOT.CA Please contact 1-877-527-0313 for further assistance.
