Is it normal for the appliance to emit an odor or smoke during first use?

Yes, it is normal for heating appliances to emit a slight odor or smoke when turned on for the first time or after a long period of inactivity. This disappears quickly.

Where should I place the fan heater for safe use?

Place it on a stable, horizontal, non-combustible and heat-resistant surface. Maintain a distance of at least 30 cm on the sides and rear, and 50 cm at the front from any obstacles such as walls, furniture or curtains. Never place it under a power socket.

Can I use this heater in a bathroom?

No, this heater is not designed for use in a bathroom, near a swimming pool or any water source. It must never get wet and is not suitable for damp environments.

How to clean the fan heater?

Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and let it cool. Clean the exterior with a soft damp cloth. Do not use flammable or abrasive detergents like benzene or white spirit. Never immerse the appliance, cord or plug in water. Dry completely before reuse.

What to do if the appliance stops suddenly and the indicators flash?

This means the tip-over switch has been activated (the appliance is no longer upright). Place it back on a flat and stable surface. The indicators will stop flashing and the appliance will operate normally.

How does the overheat protection work?

If the heater overheats (for example due to a blocked grille or excess dust), a safety switch automatically turns it off. To reset, turn off the appliance, unplug it, wait 30 minutes for it to cool down, eliminate the cause of overheating, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Before using the product

WARNING!

• Correctly connect the unit and do not leave it within the reach of unsupervised children. It is normal for heaters to emit an odour and smoke when they are turned on for the first time or have not been used for a certain period of time. This will disappear after a short while. The heater must always be placed in an upright position on a horizontal surface.
• Place the heater on a stable, heat-resistant and non-combustible horizontal surface that is at least 30 cm (sides and rear) and 50 cm (front) clear of objects such as walls, furniture and curtains.
• Never place the heater below electrical sockets. The heater is suitable for use in a 10 - 15 m² space, such as a living room or office.
• Do not use the heater in a bathroom or near to a swimming pool or other body of water. The heater must never become wet. Do not use the heater in wet or humid conditions.
• Direct the air outlet into the room so that the air can flow freely. Make sure the air inlets are unobstructed. Do not cover the heater's air inlet or outlet vents/grilles.

Operation

1. Fully unwind the power cable.
2. Check the heater's rating plate for the correct voltage. Connect the plug to a mains socket with a suitable voltage. A beep will sound and the power icon = C will light up.
3. Press the ⊙ button to turn the unit on.
4. Press the ≈ button repeatedly to select one of the four modes and the corresponding icon will light up:

NOTE: When the unit turns on, the default setting is high heater.

B Product usage

1. If using the heater function, press the δ button repeatedly to select one of the available heating temperatures: 18°C, 21°C, 24°C, 27°C or 30°C. The corresponding temperature icon will light up to show which option has been selected.
2. To turn the heater off, press the ⟨⟩ button. Then unplug the unit from the mains socket and the power icon ← will turn off.

Heater safety features

• For safety reasons, this heater is equipped with a tip-over switch. This switch automatically shuts down the heater if it is not in an upright position while in operation. The fan/heater icons will flash when the tip-over switch has been activated. The heater will resume normal operation as soon as the heater is returned to its upright position and the fan/heater icons will stop flashing.
• The heater has a built-in overheating protection mechanism. A safety switch will turn off the power if the heater overheats (e.g. if the air inlet/outlet gratings are totally or partially blocked, the fan rotates slowly, or the fan motor stops). Press the ⊕ button to turn off the heater and then unplug the plug from the mains socket. Wait 30 minutes for the heater to cool down.
• Remove the source of overheating (e.g. a blockage in the vent holes/grilles or excessive dust or dirt on the unit).
• Turn the heater back on.

NOTE: If overheating continues or the unit repeatedly malfunctions, return the heater to an approved service centre.

Cleaning and maintenance

WARNING!

• Before cleaning, always unplug the heater and allow it to cool down sufficiently.
• Do not use flammable or abrasive detergents such as benzene or white spirit to clean the heater.
• Never immerse the heater, power cable or plug in water.
• Clean the exterior with a damp, soft cloth. Thoroughly dry the heater before using it again.
• If you do not plan on using the heater for a long period of time, we recommend removing the feet and storing it in its original packaging in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, excessive dust and dirt.

Storage

• Always unplug the unit from the mains before storing it. Wait until the heater has cooled down before storing it.
• Store the unit in a fresh, dry and dust-free place, out of the reach of children and pets.
• Please retain the packaging and use it to store your unit when it is not in use for an extended period of time.
