Frequently Asked Questions - TK361 TELEFUNKEN

How to correctly assemble the chopper bowl?
Place the chopper bowl on the motor block, orienting the handle towards the back, and turn clockwise until the locking system engages. Fix the removable drive shaft, then add the chosen blade or disc. Place the lid and turn it until it locks. Insert the set of pushers into the feed chute. Note: if the 4a pusher is not inserted correctly, the appliance will not operate.
What is the maximum continuous use time?
For the chopper bowl, do not exceed 3 minutes continuously, then let rest for 15 minutes. For the blender bowl, do not exceed 2 minutes, then let rest for 10 minutes. This prevents motor overheating.
Can I wash the accessories in the dishwasher?
Yes, the accessories (bowls, lids, discs, blades, etc.) can be washed in the dishwasher, preferably on a low temperature program. You can also hand wash them with a sponge soaked in dish soap, then rinse with hot water and dry with a soft cloth.
How to use the citrus juicer?
Place the chopper bowl on the motor block and secure the drive shaft. Insert the juicer filter into the bowl, then the cone on top. Plug in the appliance, place half a citrus fruit on the cone, select speed 1 and press for 20 seconds. You can get up to 1 liter of juice without emptying the bowl. Rinse the filter every 0.3 L.
What to do if the appliance does not work after plugging in?
First check that all accessories are correctly assembled and the lid is locked. If the problem persists, unplug the appliance and reassemble the parts. Ensure the 4a pusher is inserted correctly into the feed chute. The appliance has triple safety: if an element is not properly assembled, it will not start.
How to use the grating and slicing discs?
Assemble the chopper bowl, fix the drive shaft, and insert the desired disc (for slicing: disc side slicing, for grating: disc side grating). Place the lid and lock it. Choose the pusher adapted to the size of the ingredient. Plug in the appliance, remove the pusher, insert the food into the feed chute (without exceeding the MAX mark), then push with the pusher. Use speed 1 for slicing and speed 2 for grating.
What is the maximum capacity of the blender bowl?
The maximum capacity of the blender bowl is 1.75 L. Do not exceed this level to avoid overflowing. To blend cooked soups, use speed 2 for 1 min 30 sec; to blend fruits and vegetables, use speed 1 and Pulse (P) function for 1 min 40 sec.
How to clean the motor block?
Use a soft cloth or sponge soaked in a neutral pH product to wipe the motor block surfaces. Never immerse the motor block in water and do not put it in the dishwasher. Do not use metal sponges or abrasive products.
What types of pushers are supplied with the appliance?
The appliance comes with three pushers: 4a (large), 4b (medium) and 4c (small). The 4a pusher is used for large ingredients, combined with 4b and 4c. The 4b pusher is used for medium-sized ingredients, and the 4c for small ingredients. Their use varies depending on the disc chosen.
What to do if the appliance suddenly stops or slows down?
This may be due to activation of the motor's overheat protection or exceeding the maximum capacity. Turn off the appliance, unplug it, and let the motor rest for 30 minutes. If the capacity is exceeded, remove the excess ingredients. Never attempt to repair the appliance yourself.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS ON RECYCLING

TELEFUNKEN TK361 - SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS ON RECYCLING - 1

The European Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted

municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.

Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their old appliance.
