How to install the Acer H5360BD projector on the ceiling?

Use the Acer ceiling mount kit. Drill four holes in a solid part of the ceiling, fix the mount base, then screw the pole and bracket. Attach the projector to the bracket using suitable screws (not included). Adjust the angle if needed. Refer to the Ceiling Installation section of the manual.

How to clean the projector air filter?

Turn off the projector and unplug it. Remove the air filter (if present) and clean it with a vacuum cleaner or warm soapy water. Let it dry completely before reinserting. Do not use harsh cleaners.

How to replace the projector lamp?

Turn off the projector and let it cool for at least 30 minutes. Unplug the power cord. Remove the screws from the lamp cover, then gently pull out the lamp module. Replace with a new lamp (200 W) and screw back in. Reset the lamp hour counter in the Management menu.

Why is the projected image blurry?

Check that the lens cap is removed. Adjust the focus ring on the lens. Make sure the projector is at the correct distance from the screen (1 to 10.3 meters). If necessary, adjust the sharpness in the Image menu.

How to connect a laptop to the projector?

Use a VGA (supplied) or HDMI cable. Connect one end to the projector, the other to the computer. Turn on the projector first, then the computer. Press the Source button on the remote to select the corresponding input. On some PCs, use [Fn]+[F4] or a similar key to activate the video output.

How to adjust a distorted image (keystone effect)?

Use the Keystone function on the remote or in the OSD menu (Image > Manual Keystone). Adjust the sliders until the sides of the image are straight. Correction can be up to ±40 degrees.

How to activate 3D mode on this projector?

In the OSD menu, go to Image > 3D. Choose NVIDIA 3D Vision or DLP 3D depending on your equipment. For NVIDIA, install the drivers and use an IR emitter. For DLP, use DLP glasses and a compatible source. Make sure the signal is 120 Hz for 3D mode.

What to do if the projector displays 'Fan failure'?

Turn off the projector immediately and unplug it. Let it cool down. Check that the ventilation openings are not blocked. If the message persists, contact a qualified technician. Do not continue using the device.

Enable ECO Mode in the Management menu. This reduces lamp power, extends lamp life, and reduces noise. You can also set Auto Off to turn off automatically after a period of inactivity.
