Your ACER H5360BD projector has several tools to correct color tints. Here’s how to proceed:
Solution 1: Change the Display Mode
Access the Color menu and test the different available display modes: Bright, Standard, Film, CinemaASF, Games, or Sports. The CinemaASF mode is generally optimized to provide color reproduction closer to a standard TV, with fewer extreme hues.
Solution 2: Adjust the Color Temperature
In the Color menu, set the Color Temperature: a higher value will make the image cooler (reducing red and amplifying blue/green), while a lower value will make it warmer (amplifying red). If your characters lean towards purple/green, try gradually reducing this value.
Solution 3: Adjust RGB Channels Individually
For fine control, use the Color > RGB Channels menu to adjust Red, Green, and Blue independently. If you have a green or purple tint:
- Green tint: reduce the Green channel
- Purple tint: reduce the Blue channel and/or increase the Red
Solution 4: Correction via Wall Color
The Wall Color menu allows you to correct based on your projection surface. If you are using a standard white wall, ensure that the setting matches. A poor selection can introduce unexpected color tints.
Tip: Start with the CinemaASF mode, then refine with the Color Temperature. If the problem persists, use the RGB Channels for ultra-precise adjustment.
