ASSEMBLY
For transport reasons, the wheels are not fitted and are supplied separately within the packaging.
- Remove the wheel set from the packaging.
- Mount the four wheels on the two metal supports. Be sure to put the security screws in the position shown in Figure 1. Properly tighten all screws to prevent loosening.
- Overturn carefully the radiator on a carpet or other soft surface, to avoid damaging the appliance.
- (Fig. 2) Insert the locking ring into the hole in the base of the wheel. Place the wheel under the radiator. Once properly seated, place the ring inside the other support hole. Fix the ring against the support by butterfly screw.
- Check that the wheels have been mounted correctly.
- Put the radiator in vertical position and wait about 15 minutes before connecting the device in the electrical ductwork, to ensure that all the oil inside has drained into the base.
START-UP AND OPERATION
- Before connecting the device to the mains, check that the grid voltage coincides with that shown on the data plate.
- Turn the thermostat control (Fig. 3 C) clockwise to its maximum position.
- Select the desired power setting using the two switches with light indicator (Fig. 3 A-B).
SAHARA series models have 3 operating options, with different heating outputs:
| Heating outputs | |
| II + I | HIGHT |
| II | MEDIUM |
| I | LOW |
- When the room reaches the required temperature, rotate the thermostat control anti clockwise until it clicks and turns off the device.
When the thermostat control is in this position, the appliance will switch on and off automatically to keep the pre-selected comfort temperature constant.
FROST DEVICE
The SAHARA Serie incorporates an anti-frost device that switches the unit on when the room temperature falls to approx. 5^ .
To activate this device, connect the device to the ductwork, activate the two switches in the (II + I) position, and the thermostat knob to position to anti-frost (Fig. 3 C). This device is especially beneficial in areas where low temperatures are reached, and can, on occasions, result in frozen water pipes, etc...

Before carrying out any maintenance work, make sure that the device has been disconnected from the mains.
These radiators do not require any special maintenance. A dry cloth should be used to remove the dust from the radiator. The appliance should only be cleaned when cold, solvents and abrasive products should be avoided.
If the radiator is not going to be used for a long period of time, disconnect it from the mains, store the cable away in the side compartment and keep the device in its packaging in a dry place.
