How to adjust the temperature of the refrigerator compartment?
Turn the thermostat (Fig. 1/5) to the desired setting. We recommend a medium setting (2-3). Higher settings give lower temperatures. Only temporarily set to a higher value (4-5) in case of high ambient temperature, frequent door openings, or storage of large quantities of food.
How to activate super freezing?
Press the freezer compartment setting button (Fig. 2/4) until the « super » (3) indicator lights up. Super freezing switches off automatically after 2.5 days. Activate it 4 to 6 hours before storing fresh produce, or 24 hours before for maximum capacity.
What to do if the temperature alarm triggers?
The audible alarm and flashing display indicate a temperature that is too high in the freezer. Press the setting button (Fig. 2/4) to switch it off. Check that the door is properly closed and that the food is not thawed. Do not refreeze partially thawed food without cooking it first.
How to clean the appliance?
Switch off the appliance and unplug it. Remove the food. Use a soft cloth, warm water and a mild dish soap. Do not let water enter the vents, controls or lighting. Clean the door seal with clean water and dry it. Never clean shelves or drawers in the dishwasher.
What to do in case of a power failure?
In case of a power cut, do not open the doors unnecessarily. If the failure lasts several hours, check the condition of the food. Do not refreeze thawed food without cooking it first. A temperature alarm may trigger when power returns; press the setting button to switch it off.
How to defrost the freezer (No Frost)?
The No Frost system defrosts automatically. If the evaporator is too frosted (fault), remove the food, switch off the appliance, open the door and wait about 20 minutes for defrost water to drain. Collect the water with a sponge to avoid overflow. Clean the inside and then restart.
Can I freeze fresh food directly?
Yes, but to preserve quality, use super freezing for large quantities. Blanch vegetables before freezing. Wrap food airtight in plastic wrap, aluminum foil or freezer containers. Indicate contents and date. Respect the storage times indicated on the freezing calendar.
How to change the LED lighting?
The LED lighting cannot be replaced by the user. If it is defective, contact after-sales service or an authorized specialist. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.
What is the maximum freezing capacity?
The maximum freezing capacity in 24 hours is indicated on the rating plate of your appliance (Fig. 8). To use it to the maximum, remove all drawers except the bottom drawer and stack the food directly on the shelves.
How to save energy with my fridge-freezer?
Place the appliance in a dry, ventilated location, away from sunlight and heat sources. Let hot dishes cool down before storing them. Open the door for the shortest possible time. Regularly clean the back of the appliance. If wall spacers are supplied, fit them to maintain the minimum distance.
