Please read through the instruction before using this citrus juicer and keep this instruction manual in a safe place.
Safety tips when connecting the appliance
Check if the voltage indicated on the base of the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
After removing the packaging, check that the appliance is in good condition. In doubt contact the nearest Technical Support Service.
The use of adaptors, multiple sockets and/or extension cable is not recommended. If it is indispensable to use those elements be careful to respect the limit power.
This appliance is intended for household use only.
In the event of incompatibility between the mains socket and the appliance plug, the socket should be replaced by the manufacturer, its after sale service or a qualified professional in order to avoid any danger.
The electric security of the appliance is only guaranteed if the installation respects current norms.
In doubt contact a qualified professional.
Don't let cord hang over edge of table or counter, do not let cord contact hot surface, including the stove.
Do not use the appliance if its power cord, plug, blade or other part is damaged. In the event of any damage to the power cord or blade of this product, it can only be replaced with a special one for use with this product. For the purpose of replacement, contact the distributor of this product.
Safety when using the appliance
Place the appliance on a flat, firm and dry surface.
Keep out of the reach of children the appliance and elements of package (plastic bags, polystyrene...).
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are aged from 8 years and above and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Never use accessories or parts made by other manufacturers not recommended or sold, they may cause a risk of injury to persons.
This appliance should not be used by physically, sensorial or mentally handicapped people or people without experience or knowledge of it (including children), unless they are supervised or instructed in the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
The manufacturer shall not be responsible for any damages that may arise from improper or inadequate use, or for repairs conducted by non-qualified personnel.
Do not remove the reservoir from motor base whilst the appliance is in operation.
Make sure all parts are correctly mounted before you switch on the appliance.
Do not leave the appliance exposed to the weather (rain, sun, etc...).
Do not put your hand or other items when the appliance is in operation.
The use of this appliance is only for food.
Do not let the appliance and the cable come into contact with hot points.
Safety when cleaning and maintaining the appliance
Make sure the motor and blade have completely stopped before disassembling and cleaning.
Don't immerse the motor base, plug or cord in water or any other liquid.
Do not use detergents or abrasive sponges to clean the appliance.
For cleaning surfaces in contact with food, please refer to page 12 "Cleaning Section".
This appliance complies with the European Directives for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) 2004/108/EC and its revisions, as well as Low Voltage Directive (LVD) 2006/95/EC and its revisions.

C. Protecting the environment

At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed with household waste. It must be taken to a special local authority waste collection centre or to a company providing this service. Disposing household appliances separately avoids possible negative effects on the environment and health and enables the constituent materials to be recycled which saves energy and resources.
To remind you that you must dispose of this appliance correctly the symbol shown above appears on the product warning you not to dispose of it with household waste. For further information, contact your local authority or the shop where you bought the product.
2/ PREPARING YOUR APPLIANCE
A. Description of the citrus juicer

B. Before the first use
Before using the citrus juicer for the first time, wash the top, cones, filter and juice container in warm water using liquid soap. To disassemble the citrus juicer, remove the top and separate the cones from the filter by pulling them up. Do the same with the citrus juice container. Once all the parts are clean, assemble the citrus juicer. For assembly reverse the disassembly instructions.
Two sizes of cones are supplied with the appliance. Thus, you can use the citrus juicer for any sorts of citrus fruits: oranges, lemons, grapefruits...
C. Operating instructions
Once all the parts are clean, assemble the citrus juicer. Place the juice container on the motor base; insert the filter and cones in the mechanism.
Unwind the cord from the cord storage and plug it in.
Place a glass under the spout.
Lower the spout so that the extracted juice can flows into the glass.
Cut the citrus fruit in half and place one half over the cone.
Lightly press the fruit down on the cone and the citrus juicer will automatically start operating.
The pressed juice will flow into the glass. The top can be used to press down on the fruit.
The citrus juicer will stop when the pressure on the cone is stopped.
Before removing the glass, raise the spout to keep the juice from dripping.
If a large amount of juice is going to be extracted, it is best to remove the pulp that accumulates in the filter.
When finished, disassemble and clean the appliance (see the cleaning section).
3/ CARING FOR AND CLEANING YOUR APPLIANCE
A. Cleaning the citrus juicer
Unplug and disassemble the appliance (see the "before using" for the first time section).
To keep the juice and pulp from drying on the appliance, clean the top, cones, filter and juice container immediately after use.
Do not use bleach or abrasive cleaners to wash the citrus juicer. Clean the motor base with a damp cloth.
Parts of the citrus juicer can be wash is the dishwasher (except the motor base)

Wash them with warm water and liquid soap, using a brush on the filter if necessary.
Do not submerge in water or put under the faucet.
B. Storing the juicer
After cleaning the various parts, wipe gently with a clean cloth. Reassemble all parts and keep the appliance in a dry place. Remember to clean all the parts after each use.
C. Warranty and after-sale service
This product is covered by a 2-year warranty from your retailer. For more details, please refer to the warranty conditions supplied by your retailer.
