Introduction Congratulations and thank you for purchasing the innovative TuneCast Auto from Belkin. This product is designed to power, charge, and transmit audio from your Samsung T9 and K3 to your car stereo. Please review this User Manual carefully, so that you can be sure you’ll get the most from your TuneCast Auto, virtually anywhere you go. Tunecast Auto is Certified and conforms to EN 301 357 and CPT REC 70-03

1. For AUDIO and POWER: Plug the dock connector into your Samsung and the

cigarette-lighter adapter into your car’s cigarette-lighter outlet. Press the I or II button to activate when the transmitter goes into sleep mode.

2. For MOUNTING: Use multi-mount socket and mount with adhesive backing to

attach your TuneCast Auto to any smooth surface. Note: To conserve power, the TuneCast Auto will automatically turn off when there is no input audio signal for approximately 30 seconds.

3. Tune your car stereo frequency to a channel with a

weak broadcast signal. The ideal channel is one that is not picking up a signal from a radio station, or is doing so weakly.

4. Press the or button on the TuneCast Auto to select

the transmission frequency chosen in step 3, on your car for broadcast. Press and hold either button for fast-forward or backward tuning.

5. Your TuneCast Auto can memorize up to two different frequencies so you can

recall them quickly later. a. Select the desired frequency using the or buttons. b. Press and hold the MI or MII button for two seconds. When the MI or MII icon blinks, release the button.

6. Adjust the volume on your Samsung to a medium level.

7. Adjust the volume of your FM radio to the desired listening level.*

*Due to characteristics of FM transmission, you will experience better sound quality by adjusting the volume on your car stereo when necessary, and by leaving your Samsung volume at a medium level. Belkin International, Inc. Limited 3-Year Product Warranty What this warranty covers. Belkin International, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser of this Belkin product that the product shall be free of defects in design, assembly, material or workmanship. What the period of coverage is. Belkin International, Inc. warrants the Belkin product for three years. What will we do to correct problems? Product Warranty. Belkin will repair or replace, at its option, any defective product free of charge (except for shipping charges for the product). What is not covered by this warranty? All above warranties are null and void if the Belkin product is not provided to Belkin International, Inc. for inspection upon Belkin’s request at the sole expense of the purchaser, or if Belkin International, Inc. determines that the Belkin product has been improperly installed, altered in any way, or tampered with. Warranty How to get service. To get service for your Belkin product you must take the following steps:

1. Contact Belkin Customer Service (see details on page 8), within 15 days of the Occurrence. Be

prepared to provide the following information: a. The part number of the Belkin product. b. Where you purchased the product. c. When you purchased the product. d. Copy of original receipt.

2. Your Belkin Customer Service Representative will then instruct you on how to forward your receipt

and Belkin product and how to proceed with your claim. Belkin International, Inc. reserves the right to review the damaged Belkin product. All costs of shipping the Belkin product to Belkin International, Inc. for inspection shall be borne solely by the purchaser. If Belkin determines, in its sole discretion, that it is impractical to ship the damaged equipment to Belkin International, Inc., Belkin may designate, in its sole discretion, an equipment repair facility to inspect and estimate the cost to repair such equipment. The cost, if any, of shipping the equipment to and from such repair facility and of such estimate shall be borne solely by the purchaser. Damaged equipment must remain available for inspection until the claim is finalized. Whenever claims are settled, Belkin International, Inc. reserves the right to be subrogated under any existing insurance policies the purchaser may have. How state law relates to the warranty.
