Before use, please read these instructions carefully and keep them safe. Remove all packaging before use.

STOP SAFETY CAUTIONS
1 Warning - for additional protection the installation of a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable. Ask an electrician for advice.
The appliance, including its cord, must not be used, played with, cleaned or maintained by persons under eight years old and should at all times be kept out of their reach.
Use, cleaning or maintenance of the appliance by children over eight or by anyone with a lack of knowledge, experience or with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities should only be undertaken after receiving appropriate instruction and under the adequate supervision of a responsible adult to ensure that they do so safely and that the hazards involved are understood and avoided.
2 Do not put the appliance in liquid; do not use it near water in a bath-tub, basin or other vessel; and don't use it outdoors.
3 Keep direct airflow away from eyes or other sensitive areas.
4 Do not let any part of the appliance touch the face, neck or scalp.
5 In use, take care that the inlet and outlet grilles are not blocked in any way as this will cause the unit to automatically stop.
If this should occur, switch off and allow the appliance to cool down.
6 Ensure the inlet grille is free from obstructions such as household fluff, loose hair etc.
7 Do not leave the appliance unattended while plugged in.
8 Do not set the appliance down while still on.
9 Do not use attachments other than those we supply.
10 Do not twist or kink the cable, or wrap it round the appliance.
11 Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or malfunctions.
12 If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or someone similarly qualified, in order to avoid hazard.
13 This appliance is not intended for commercial or salon use.
14 Let the appliance cool down before cleaning and storing away.
4 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1 Wash and condition your hair as normal.
2 Squeeze out excess moisture with a towel and comb through.
* Hair sprays contain flammable material – do not use while using the dryer.
3 Plug in the dryer.
4 For fast drying and to remove excess moisture from the hair use dryer on high heat/ high speed.
5 Select desired temperature and speed setting using the switches on the handle.
6 To create smooth styles use the concentrator and a round hair brush (not included) whilst drying.
7 To set the style press the cool shot button whilst styling. Release it to reactivate heat.
8 When finished, turn the appliance off and unplug.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance and let it cool.
To maintain peak product performance and to prolong motor life, it is important to regularly remove dust and dirt from the rear grille and clean with a soft brush.
To remove the rear grille for cleaning - Hold the dryer handle in one hand, then with the other place your thumb on the indent at the top, press and pull away from dryer.
To replace the rear grille first insert the latches at the bottom of the rear grille section and click the top into place.

To avoid environmental and health problems due to hazardous substances in electrical and electronic goods, appliances marked with this symbol must not be disposed of with unsorted municipal waste, but recovered, reused or recycled.
SERVICE AND GUARANTEE
This product has been checked and is free of defects.
We guarantee this product against any defects that are due to faulty material or workmanship for the guarantee period from the original date of consumer purchase.
If the product should become defective within the guarantee period, we will repair any such defect or elect to replace the product or any part of it without charge, provided there is proof of purchase.
This does not mean an extension of the guarantee period.
In the case of a guarantee simply call the Service Centre in your region.
This guarantee is offered over and above your normal statutory rights.
The guarantee shall apply in all countries in which our product was sold via an authorised dealer.
This guarantee does not include damage to the product by accident or misuse, abuse, alteration to the product or use inconsistent with the technical and/or safety instructions required.
This guarantee shall not apply if the product has been dismantled or repaired by a person not authorised by us.
If you ring the Service Centre, please have the Model No. to hand, as we won't be able to help you without it.
It's on the rating plate which can be found on the appliance.
