Frequently Asked Questions - SILENCE FORCE EXTREME COMPACT RO 5635.11 ROWENTA

How to change the bag of my Rowenta Silence Force Extreme Compact vacuum cleaner?
Open the cover, remove the bag holder, discard the old Wonderbag or empty the textile bag. Place a new Wonderbag on the holder or close the zip of the textile bag, then put the holder back into the compartment. Make sure it is correctly positioned before closing the cover.
How to clean or replace the HEPA filter?
Open the cover, remove the bag holder, then remove the HEPA filter cassette. For models with a textile bag, you can tap the cassette over a bin to clean it. For models with a Wonderbag, replace the cassette with a new one (ref. ZR002901). Replace the cassette and holder, then close the cover.
What to do if the vacuum cleaner no longer sucks?
Check that the bag is not full, the filters are not clogged, and the accessories or hose are not blocked. Also make sure the cover is properly closed. If the mechanical power control is open, close it.
What to do if the bag change indicator stays red after changing the bag?
This indicates that the bag is full. Replace the Wonderbag with a new one or empty the textile bag and make sure it is properly positioned. If the problem persists, contact an authorized service center.
How to use the different accessories?
For carpets and rugs, use the all-floor nozzle in retracted brush mode or the turbo brush. For hard floors, use the all-floor nozzle in extended brush mode or the parquet nozzles. For corners, use the telescopic crevice tool. For furniture, use the brush integrated into the handle or the upholstery tool.
How to adjust the suction power?
You can use the electronic control on the vacuum body (positions MIN, Medium, MAX) or the mechanical control on the handle by opening a flap to reduce power manually.
How to store the vacuum cleaner after use?
Turn off and unplug the vacuum. Press the rewinder pedal to store the cord. Place the vacuum in an upright position and use the parking function to stabilize it. You can carry it by the handle.
What to do if the cover does not close?
Check that the bag holder, the bag, and the HEPA filter cassette are correctly installed. The vacuum is equipped with presence detectors; the cover will not close if any of these elements is missing or incorrectly positioned.
How to clean the exterior of the vacuum cleaner?
Wipe the body and accessories with a soft cloth. Do not use detergents, aggressive or abrasive products.
What to do if the cord does not rewind completely?
Pull the cord slightly and press the rewinder pedal again. If the problem persists, check that the cord is not stuck or damaged. If necessary, contact an authorized service center.

CLEANING AND MAINTAINING

The air we breathe contains particles that may be allergens: mite larvae and droppings, mould, pollen, smoke and animal residues (hair, skin, saliva, urine). With the (H)EPA filter, the air released back into the room is healthier than the air that is vacuumed.
