Open the toner cover and control panel, remove the used cartridge, insert the new one, remove the adhesive tape, then close the covers. See the Toner Cartridge Replacement section (P. 398) for details.

Follow the on-screen instructions. Open the appropriate covers, gently remove the jammed paper, then close. If necessary, open the rear cover and paper output guide. See Clearing Paper Jams (P. 348).

For a simple connection, use the WPS push button mode: press the WPS button on your router, then on the printer select 'Network connection' > 'Wireless LAN' > 'WPS push button mode'. Follow the prompts. See Connecting to a Wireless LAN (P. 173).
How to copy both sides of an ID card onto one page?
Place the card on the exposure glass, face down. Press the ID Card Copy button (or access via menu). Follow the instructions to scan the front, then turn the card and scan the back. The printer assembles both sides on one page. See Copying Both Sides of an ID Card (P. 83).
How to activate silent mode?
Press the Silent Mode button on the control panel. The indicator lights up green. You can also set a start and end time via the Silent Mode Timer menu in the clock settings. See Activating Silent Mode (P. 59).

Make sure the driver and MF Scan Utility software are installed. Place the document, then press the Scan -> PC button on the control panel. The image will be automatically sent to the configured computer. See Scanning Using the Scan -> PC Button (P. 136).

Check that the printer and router are on and connected. Make sure the IP address is correct. Restart the printer and router. If the problem persists, reset the network settings via the Direct Connection menu (P. 290) or see Troubleshooting (P. 346).
