CAUTION

Before using electrical appliances, you must respect some precautions.

READ ALL THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT.

• Make sure that the voltage rating on the type plate corresponds to your main voltage.
• Keep out of children and do not allow them to operate this appliance.
• Never immerse the product in water or any other liquid for any reasons.
• Do not use this appliance near a water point.
• From time to time, check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance show any sign of damage.
• Do not use any other electrical connections that are not supplied and recommended by the manufacturer. This could damage the appliance.
• Never move or range the appliance by pulling the cord.
• Do not disassemble the appliance.
• Do not switch the appliance or the plug with wet hand.
• Unplug the appliance before cleaning or replacement of any piece.
• Do not clean the appliance with abrasive chemicals.
• Never use the appliance on or near hot surfaces.
• Do introduce neither metallic objects, nor fingers inside the appliance in order to protect you from electrical shock.
• Do not cover air outlet.
• Do not use the appliance in any greasy environment such as kitchen, the appliance can not filter oil.
• Do not use the appliance when you use insecticide in the room.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
• Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions. Never use accessories that are not recommended or supplied by the manufacturer. It could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
• All interventions made by a non-qualified person can be dangerous; in this case guarantee conditions would cancel. As all electrical products, a competent electrician must repair it.

LOCATION

1- Install the appliance at least 2 meters away from TV set, radio ... to avoid interference.
2- Do not blow air directly into the air purifier.
3- Keep the appliance at least 10cm from the wall.
4- Do not cover the appliance.
5- Place the appliance near the source of air pollution.
6- Place the appliance in a well-ventilated location

OPERATION

• Plug the appliance.
• Press on/off touch (a). The appliance gives out 2 beep. The appliance starts in the latest speed select. The LED switch on.
• Press speed touch (b) to select the fan speed : LOW MEDIUM HIGH
• Press ion touch (c) to activate ionization function. The ION picto appears on LED display. Press it again to stop ionization function.
• Press again on/off touch to stop the appliance.

HEPA FILTER

HEPA filter indicator : compare the color of HEPA filter with color indicator in order to know when replace HEPA filter.

Replaced hepa filters

• Switch off the appliance and unplug it.
• Remove the rear cover (5) by pressing the fixing (6).
• Take off the hepa filter and replace it by a new filter.
• Replace the rear cover.

Note :

Never replaced a used hepa filter in a reverse direction, otherwise the dust absorbed will be blown out. The hepa can not be cleaned, it can only be replaced.

MAINTENANCE

• Unplug the appliance before any cleaning operation.
• Do not place the appliance in hot, humid or fire gases environment.
• Do not use chemical solvent to clean the surface of the appliance. If you do so, the surface will be scratched, damaged even the whole casing could become deformed.
• Clean the pre filter every 2 months with water and soft chemical, then replace it when it is dry.

• The longevity of the filters depends on the intensive use of the appliance and the degree of air pollution. It should be replaced every 6 months. If the filter is black, it need to be replaced.

MAINTENANCE

TROUBLES	TREATMENT
The appliance does not work	Check the appliance is plug. Press M/A touch. Check filters and rear cover are correctly installed.
The fan does not run.	Make sure there is nothing in front or on top of air grid. Check the filters and replace them if necessary.

Instructions on environment protection

Do not dispose of this product in the usual household garbage at the end of its life cycle; hand it over a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances. The symbol on the product, the instructions for use or the packing will inform about the methods of disposal. The materials are recyclable as mentioned in its marking. By recycling or others forms of re-utilization of old appliances, you are making an important contribution to protect our environment. Please inquire at the community administration for the authorized disposal location.
