PLEASE, READ CAREFULLY THIS MANUAL BEFORE THE FIRST USE OF THE PRODUCT.

  • Make sure that the voltage rating on the type plate corresponds to your main voltage. Any error in connecting the appliance invalidates the guarantee.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Only use this appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions. Never use for any other purposes.
  • Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
  • If you have to go out unplug the appliance every time.
  • From time to time, check the cord. Never use the appliance if cord plug or appliance show any sign of damage.
  • The cord length of this product has been selected to reduce the possibility of tangling in or tripping over a longer cord. If more cord length is needed, an extension cord may be used. Ensure not to let it dangle where someone could accidentally pull or trip over it.
  • Do not place directly in front of heater or in direct sunlight as this could damage the appliance.
  • Do not use the appliance outside.
  • Never pull the cord to unplug or move the appliance.
  • Unplug the appliance before cleaning or changing any pieces.
  • Do never introduce metallic objects to avoid any risks of electrical shocks.
  • Never use accessories that are not recommended or supplied by the manufacturer. It could constitute a danger for the user and could damage the appliance.
  • Never repair the appliance yourself. All interventions made by a non-qualified person can be dangerous ; in this case guarantee conditions would cancel. As all electrical products, a qualified electrician must repair it, as well as the power cord must be changed by an electrician. SPECIAL RECOMMENDATIONS
  • Do not place any object onto the air outlet (on the back side of appliance).
  • The rear of the unit can go quite close to the wall but leave at least 5 cm gap.
  • Do note place the appliance on soft or uneven ground in order to prevent it from leaking of making noise.
  • Place the appliance in order to open easily the ice cube tank and the water tank without needing to remove the appliance.
  • Switch off and unplug the appliance when is not used for a long time. THE MANUFACTURER WILL NOT ASSUME ANY RESPONSABILITY IN CASE OF NON ADHERENCE TO THIS RECOMMENDATION. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.

  • Manual mode: Place switch (10) in Manuel position (MAN). Take the water tank (1) and fill it with fresh potable water. Fill between MIN and MAX and never exceed MAX level. Put back the tank.
  • Automatic mode: Place switch (10) in Auto position. Unscrew knob on connection (11). Connect pipe (12) to the ice maker on water tap connection (11) and then to the domestic water tap. Open domestic water tap. Step 2: electrical connection. Plug the ice maker. Press M/A switch. The warning light flash and a sound can be heard. In manuel mode, when the warning light turns to green colour, ice maker is ready to work. In automatic mode, the warning light flash and a sound can be heard as long as the water tank is empty. Please refer to following instructions. Step 3: size of the cubes. Select the size using the mode switch. - small ice cube : on the situation of normal waiting, small ice cube light indicator will be lightened. Press START button to start the program. The appliance makes ice cube by 10 minutes period*. - Medium ice cube : on the situation of normal waiting, press mode button to select medium ice cube size (the indicator will be lightened), then press START button to start the program. The appliance makes ice cube by 15 minutes period*. - Big ice cube : on the situation of normal waiting, press mode button to select big ice cube size (the indicator will be lightened), then press START button to start the program. The appliance makes ice cube by 18 minutes period*.
  • First rounds may be a little larger longer and with less than 14 cubes.
  • Changing the ice cube size : While the machine is running, press the PAUSE button (the indicator of the current size will flash for 30s then the running light indicator will flash till the end of the round). Wait for the end of the round, the machine stops working. Select the new cube size (see below) and press the START button. Changing the cube size is also possible in the begining of a round. Press the PAUSE button, the indicator of the current size will flash. Immediately select the new size with the MODE button and press again the PAUSE button. Rounds restart with the new size. Note: ice cube size is related to ambient temperature. In order to avoid any problem, we suggest you use small size if ambient temperature is between 16°C and 20°C, medium size if ambient temperature is between 21°C and 26°C and large size if ambient temperature is over 26°C. If you choose different size, please ensure that all the cubes are ejected at the end of the round. Step 4: how to stop the appliance During the last round, press the PAUSE button (the indicator of the current size will flash for 30s then the running light indicator will flash till the end of the round). Wait for the end of the round, the machine stops working. Press the ON/OFF button.

notice MG2.1-06 20/04/06 12:11 Page 11 CAUTION : if the water tank or ice cube tank are not in the right position, or if there is not enough water, the appliance will be on “warning “ mode, the alarm light indicator is red flashing.

  • Releasing function : If the ice maker stops during a round, press start button for more than 3 seconds to release the remaining ice. Ice maker will then start again after you solve the problem. CLEANING
  • For safety purposes, make sure that the power is on « OFF » position and the appliance is unplugged before any maintenance, repairing or cleaning operation. - Clean the case with a soft and dry cloth. - If the case has accumulated dust or is very dirty, use any mild household cleaner to remove any stubborn stains, then wipe with clean lightly dampened cloth. - Clean the water tank with warm water and neutral detergent.
  • Do not use alcohol or organic solvent to clean the appliance. Do not use tool to clean ice making chamber, water tank or ice cube tank.
  • If you don’t use the appliance for a long time, you should empty the water tank and the ice cube tank, and make sure it is dustproof.
  • Water tank and ice cube tank can not be use as containers. TROUBLESHOOTING IF YOU DISCOVER THAT YOUR APPLIANCE HAS UNUSUAL SYMPTOMS PLEASE CHECK THE FOLLOWING FIRST : SYMPTOM

Alarm indicator flash red without bip Ice is full, open the ice cube tank and empty it. Alarm indicator flash red with 2 successive bips Check the water level. Ice cannot come out. Check there is nothing block ice making. Ice is too small Check the air vent is not blocked or the temperature is not too high. The appliance makes no ice. Check the appliance is correctly plug or the machine is in time delay protection situation.
