Frequently Asked Questions - PP121 SWEEX

How to install the SWEEX PP121 UPS?

How long does it take to charge the UPS?
The UPS must be charged for 8 hours to provide its full backup capacity. Charging begins as soon as it is plugged into the mains, even when turned off.
What do the LEDs on the front panel mean?
The blue LED indicates that the mains voltage is normal. The orange LED means the UPS is charging. The red LED signals a power failure: the UPS then powers the connected devices.
Can I connect any device to the UPS?
The UPS is designed to protect computer systems. It is not recommended to connect other electronic devices, and doing so is at your own risk.
How to configure the UPS via the software?
After installing the PowerManagerLite software, double-click the icon in the taskbar to open the manager. You can then configure the UPS settings.
What is the battery runtime in case of a power outage?
The runtime depends on the connected load. The higher the power consumption, the shorter the runtime. The manual does not provide an exact value.
How to maintain the UPS?
Clean the device with a dry cloth. Do not expose it to dust, humidity, shocks, or direct sunlight. Never open the UPS, as this voids the warranty.
What is the serial number for software installation?
The serial number is on the CD-ROM case provided with the UPS. Enter it respecting uppercase letters and hyphens.
What to do if the UPS does not turn on?
Check that the UPS is properly plugged into a working wall outlet. Press the on/off button. If the problem persists, contact the point of sale.
What is the warranty period for the UPS?
Most SWEEX products come with a 3-year warranty. Graphics cards and consumer electronics have a 2-year warranty. Batteries and software are not covered.
