How do I connect the AM100 Signature amplifier?

Connect your preamplifier to the amplifier input (1). Use the right and left channel outputs (5) and (3) to connect your speakers, respecting polarity. You can also use the amplifier output (2) to feed another power amplifier for bi-amping.

Can I use the AM100 Sig in bridged mono mode?

Yes, the amplifier can be switched to mono bridge mode. However, for the AM100 Signature, bridged mono mode is not recommended with speakers having an impedance lower than 6 Ω.

How do I activate bridged mono mode?

Ensure the amplifier is unplugged, then push the switch ⓐ located inside the appliance to change from stereo to mono. Be careful that no other device is plugged in during this operation.

How does the 12V trigger input work?

The trigger input (4) lets you switch the amplifier on and off simultaneously with any device featuring a 12V trigger output. The amplifier's ON/OFF button must remain in position OFF (0); if it is in ON (1), the trigger function will not operate. Use a male-to-male stereo jack plug ∅ 3.5 mm.

What is the power output of the AM100 Signature?

It delivers 100 W per channel at 8 Ω and 140 W per channel at 4 Ω, with an impulse power of 180 W per channel.

How should I clean the amplifier?

Why does my amplifier have a temporised switch-on?

The AM100 Signature is equipped with a temporised switch-on and a relay that protects the loudspeakers from over-voltage on the output power stage, ensuring safe start-up.

How long should I let the amplifier warm up before listening?

For optimal performance, switch the amplifier on at least half an hour before listening. To keep it at its ideal working temperature, leave it on between uses, but use the main switch to turn it off at night or when leaving home.

CONNECTING

1) Amplifier input.

(1) Trigger input: This input allows the control ON/OFF of your amplifier simultaneously to any device with a 12V Trigger outlet. In order that the system is operating, the ON/OFF button of your Amplifier must remain in position OFF (0). If the switch is in the ON position (1), the amplifier will work but not the Trigger function.

MONO BRIDGE MODE

Warning: for the AM100 Signature, bridged mono mode is not recommended on speakers with an impedance of less than 6 Ω.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

ATOLL ELECTONIQUE warranty is two years period from the date of purchase; date and stamp of the seller being authentic. We recommend you to keep your proof of purchase (invoice). The warranty, as well as the terms of service, should be specified at the time of purchase by your dealer who will advise you, in case of faulty behaviour or failure. This warranty covers labour and replacement of parts acknowledged to be faulty, and not the normal wear and tear caused.

Devices with traces of disassembly, drop, immersion, abnormal voltage or any cause of degradation and damage resulting from a contrary use of the indications included in this owner manual, automatically lose the benefit of the guarantee.
