Frequently Asked Questions - IN300 EVO Atoll

How do I connect my IN300 EVO to my speakers?
Connect the right and left speaker cables to the binding posts labeled for right (⊕ & ⊖) and left (⊕ & ⊖) on the rear panel. Ensure correct polarity and do not connect two speakers in parallel to the same output.
How can I adjust the balance on the amplifier?
Press the CONFIG button on the remote control once. Use VOL ⊕/⊖ to adjust balance from -9 to +9 per channel. Long-press CONFIG to save the setting.
How do I pair a Bluetooth device with the IN300 EVO?
Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet, select "IN300" from the device list. The BT symbol on the amplifier shows connection status. To pair another transmitter, turn off the amplifier completely at the ON/SLEEP switch then restart.
What is the BY-PASS input used for?
BY-PASS lets you use the IN300 as a power amplifier with an external AV preamp or processor. Select BY-PASS on the front panel or remote. The display shows "BY-PASS" and other functions are locked until you exit.
How do I install the USB driver for my computer?
For Windows, download the XMOS specific driver from the Atoll website and follow the included installation note. Mac computers do not require this driver.
What formats are supported through the USB input?
The USB input supports PCM up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD64, DSD128, DSD256. Optical and coaxial inputs handle PCM up to 24-bit/192 kHz.
Can I use headphones with the IN300 EVO?
Yes, connect headphones to the front panel jack. When headphones are plugged in, the speaker outputs are switched off automatically.
How does the standby ECO function work?
The SBY ECO menu lets you set a delay (10 sec, 5, 15, 30, 60 minutes) after which the amplifier goes to eco standby (<0.5 W). You can also disable it to keep preheating mode at 27 W.
Why is there no sound from my speakers when I select an input?
Check that the correct source is selected, volume is not muted, and that speaker connections are secure. If the display is off, press any remote button to wake it. Also verify the source device is playing.
How should I clean and maintain the IN300 EVO?
Unplug the amplifier from the mains before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use products containing acetone, mineral spirits, ammonia, or abrasives. Never attempt to clean the inside of the device.
