How to connect the Movie Cube to my computer?

Connect the mini connector of the provided USB cable to the mini USB port of the player (side panel, marked 'USB DEVICE'), then connect the other end to the computer. Make sure the player is powered on.

What video formats are compatible with the MOVIE CUBE V800H?

The player supports a wide range of formats: AVI, MKV, TS, TP, TRP, M2TS, MPG, MP4, M4V, MOV, VOB, ISO, IFO, DAT, WMV, ASF, RM, RMVB, FLV, with a maximum resolution of 1080p.

Can I record television programs with this player?

Yes, the MOVIE CUBE V800H includes a DTT tuner (DVB-T) that allows recording programs on the internal hard drive. You can schedule recordings, use Time Shift (pause live TV) or record from the AV input. Files are saved in TS (DTV) or MPG (AV IN) format.

How to format the internal hard drive?

Go to the Settings > System > Hard drive formatting menu. You will need to adjust the capacity dedicated to Time Shift, then confirm formatting. Warning: this operation erases all data. Make sure you have backed up your important files.

While watching a DTT channel or an AV source, press the TIME SHIFT button on the remote. Playback pauses and the program is recorded on the hard drive. Press Play to resume from where you left off. Time Shift remains active until you press Stop or Time Shift again.

How to connect the player to the Wi-Fi network?

Plug a USB Wi-Fi adapter (optional, compatible 802.11b/g/n) into one of the USB ports. In the Settings > Network menu, select Wireless configuration. Choose your SSID network and enter the security key using the virtual keyboard. The player can store up to 3 profiles.

Why is there no sound on videos via the Y/Pb/Pr output?

The Y/Pb/Pr output is video only. To get sound, you must also connect the composite audio output (A/V OUT) or use an optical/coaxial output to your audio system.

How to transfer files from a computer via the network?

Ensure the player is connected to the network (Ethernet or Wi-Fi) and that the Samba service is enabled (Network menu > BitTorrent and SAMBA). From your computer, open Explorer and type \\ (e.g., \\192.168.1.10). You can then copy/paste files to the player's hard drive.

How to reset the player to factory settings?

Go to Settings > System > Restore factory settings. Confirm with the remote. This operation restores default configuration but does not delete files from the hard drive. If functions stop working, this is the first thing to try.
