2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the appliance when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION
Basic instructions for using the kettle
- The refilled water level must be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks.
- Switch the kettle off before removing it from the base.
- Close the cover and make sure it is securely closed.
- The base and exterior of the kettle must not get wet.
- The body of the appliance must fit the base.
- Do not open the cover when pouring.
- Be careful when opening the cover to avoid splashing condensed water on the it.
Using the kettle for the first time
NOTE: before using the kettle for the first time, fill it with water and boil it twice. Do not add any other product.
- Fill the kettle with water, but do not exceed the MAX mark. Please consider the water level indicator.
- Place the kettle on the base.
- Electrical connections
- Check if the voltage you are going to use is the same as that of the kettle. Further information can be found on the label on the base of the kettle.
- Only connect the appliance to a correctly installed 220-240 V\~ 50-60 Hz power socket.
- Switch on the kettle by pressing the power icon. The temperature indicator light will light up. Press the power icon again to boil the water (100 °C).
- After the water boils, the appliance will automatically switch off.
NOTE: disconnect it from the mains.
Modes
- To select the different heating modes, press the modes selection icon after switching on the appliance.
- The appliance allows you to work in the temperature ranges of 40 °C (Room temperature mode), 70 °C (Honey mode), 80 °C (Green tea mode), 90 °C (Coffee mode) and 100 °C (Boil mode). To select these modes, press the modes selection icon.
- If you want to boil water, you can select Boil mode (100 °C) with the modes selection icon or by pressing the power icon again after switching on the kettle.
- After selecting the desired mode, the appliance will display the indicator light of the mode flashing for 3s until it starts to heat up; then, it will display the temperature and the indicator light of the selected mode will remain lit.
- To turn off the kettle, press and hold the power icon for a few seconds.

Keep warm
- To activate the Keep warm function, select the desired mode and when the kettle starts, press and hold the modes selection icon for two seconds. The Keep warm function will be activated automatically. You can also activate this function by pressing and holding the modes selection icon for 2 seconds before selecting the mode.
- The function will remain active for 2 h. The appliance reheats the water when the temperature drops 5 °C below the selected temperature.
NOTE: the Keep warm function will be deactivated if the kettle is removed from the base more than 10 times or if the water drops by 8 °C when removed from the base.
- When the Keep warm function is activated, the modes selection icon and the Keep warm indicator light will light up.
- To deactivate the Keep warm function, press, and hold the modes selection icon for two seconds.
- The water temperature will appear on the display and the kettle will start. When the water is boiling, two beeps will sound. After 30 seconds, the display and indicator lights will turn off. When the kettle is on, the power icon will be lit. If no operation is performed after 30 seconds, the kettle will enter standby mode and the display and indicator lights will turn off. When the kettle is in standby mode, press the power icon and the modes selection icon to reactivate the kettle. To put the kettle into standby mode again, press the power icon for three seconds.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning the kettle, unplug it and allow it to cool down.
- Clean the outside of the appliance with a slightly damp sponge or cloth.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, metal brushes or any other object that may scratch the surface.
- When you notice that limescale deposits are building up on the base of the kettle, descale the appliance using a recommended descaler according to the manufacturer's instructions and proportions when adding it to the water.
