USER MANUAL Titanmill 400 CECOTEC
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- The device can be used by people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- The device is not intended to be used by children. Keep this device and its power cord out of their reach.
- Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by children.
- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Cecotec, our after-sales service, or similar qualified personnel to avoid risks.

WARNING: incorrect or improper use can be dangerous for both the device and the user. Use the device only for the purposes described in this manual.

Be careful with the blades when emptying and cleaning the product.
- The blades inside the product are very sharp, handle them carefully to avoid cuts.
- Unplug the device from the mains when not in use or when cleaning, before disassembling, or assembling the product. Allow it to cool down completely before attaching or removing parts and before cleaning the appliance.
- Switch off and unplug the device before changing accessories or related parts that move during use.
- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the device rating label and that the plug is earthed.
- Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cable. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not allow the cable to touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the working surface or worktop.
- Never leave the device unattended during use.

Do not use accessories not provided or suggested by Cecotec, as these could cause damage to the appliance or result in hazards.

Do not connect the device to the power supply unless fully and safely assembled.
- Do not exceed the MAX mark.
- The device is only suitable for grinding coffee beans. Do not use it to grind any other type of food.
- To avoid overheating the motor, do not use the flat grindstone system for more than one minute at a time.
- Let the device rest for one minute after using it twice in succession. Do not perform more than two grinding cycles at a time.
- Do not move the device during operation.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the appliance when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION
- Plug the detachable power cable (7) into the grinder plug (6) at the back of the motor base (5).
- Remove the lid (1). Insert the coffee beans into the container (4). The container (4) has a maximum capacity of 70 g of coffee beans. When filling, do not exceed its rim.
ATTENTION: do not use the coffee grinder to grind hard foods such as nutmeg, dried chickpeas, etc.
NOTE: you can also use the coffee grinder to grind nuts, herbs, seeds, and certain types of spices.
- Plug the coffee grinder into a mains socket and turn the lid (1) clockwise to start it. The appliance will stop operating when you turn the lid (1) counterclockwise. The grinding level or coffee fineness will depend on the grinding time. The longer you keep the blades spinning, the finer the coffee will be.
ATTENTION: the maximum non-stop operating time is 1 minute. After one minute of continuous operation, allow the coffee grinder to cool down for two minutes between uses. It will have completed one grinding cycle. If the coffee grinder runs continuously for 5 cycles, let it stand for 10 to 15 minutes to allow the motor to cool down and then restart it. This method prolongs the shelf life of the appliance.
NOTE: grind the coffee beans just before brewing so that they do not lose their properties. Freshly ground coffee preserves all its flavour and aroma.
- When the grinding process is finished, unplug the coffee grinder from the mains socket. Wait until the blades (2) have come to a complete stop before removing the lid. Then,
remove the lid (1) by turning it counterclockwise. Pour the ground coffee into a suitable container or cup.
- Clean the coffee grinder after each use according to the instructions in the following section "Cleaning and maintenance".
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning, make sure that the coffee grinder is switched off, disconnected from the mains and that the blades (2) are not moving.
- Wash the lid (1) with warm soapy water. Then rinse it with clean water and dry it well with a soft cloth.
- Turn the lid (1) counterclockwise to remove it. Wash it with warm water and soap. Then rinse it with clean water and dry it well with a soft cloth.
- Wipe the container (4) and blades (2) with a clean cloth. The blades are very sharp, be careful when handling them to avoid injury.
ATTENTION: be very careful when cleaning the blades (2), as they are very sharp, and you could cut yourself.
- Use a dry or slightly damp cloth to clean the motor base (5). Do not rinse it under the tap or immerse it in water or other liquids.
- Do not use thinners, solvents, or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance.
5. TROUBLESHOOTING
