Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given appropriate supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

• The appliance must be powered at a low safety voltage as stated on the marking.
• The appliance may only be used with the power supply unit provided with the appliance.
• Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced with a special cable or set to be supplied by Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service or by its after-sales service to avoid any hazard.
• This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
• Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the device rating label and that the plug is earthed.
• Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the device in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the device.
• Keep all packaging materials away from children. Risk of suffocation.
• This device must be checked frequently for signs of wear or damage. If such signs are present, or if the device has been used improperly, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service. Do not try to repair the device by yourself.
• For hygienic reasons, this appliance should only be used by one person.

• Switch off the device immediately in the event of defects or malfunctions.

• Do not use attachments or parts that have not been provided by Cecotec

• Never leave the device unattended during use.
• Keep the appliance away from heat sources.
• Do not use an extension cord with this device.

• The appliance is exclusively designed for trimming natural hair. Do not use it to cut artificial or animal hair.
• Do not use the device if your skin or head skin is injured or suffers from any type of illness.
• Turn off and unplug the appliance from the power supply before assembling or disassembling attachments.

Battery instructions

• This appliance contains an irreplaceable battery.
• This appliance includes a Li-ion battery. Do not incinerate or expose it to high temperatures, as it may explode.
• Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
• Leaks from the battery or cells can occur under extreme conditions. Do not touch any liquid that leaks from the battery. If the liquid comes into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.

• When the device is stored and not used for long periods of time, ensure that the battery pack is fully charged.

• Keep batteries out of the reach of children when there is a risk of ingestion.

• Battery ingestion can cause burns, soft tissue perforation and death. Severe burns may occur within two hours of ingestion.
• In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical help immediately.

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Remove the appliance from its box. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.
• Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

Charging

Initial charging

• Connect a certified 5V/1A power adapter to a suitable mains socket.
• Charge the device completely before first use and for subsequent charges.

Note:

- A full charge provides approximately 45 minutes of cordless operation.

Using the power adapter

• Ensure the product is switched off using the power button before connecting it to the power supply.
• Insert the adapter plug into the device's power input.
• Connect the adapter to an accessible mains socket that matches the voltage specified on the product label.
• Switch on the device using the power button.

Battery indicators

• When the battery is low, the indicator light flashes rapidly.
• During charging, the white light flashes and switches off when fully charged.
• The light remains on while the device is in use.
• A full charge provides approximately 45 minutes of cordless operation.
• Use the device regularly to avoid long periods of inactivity.
• Fully discharge the battery before recharging.
• Switch off the device using the power button.

Using the product

Warning:

• Do not use the product if you have an open wound, cut, sunburn, blister, or acne.
• The product should only be used on the face. It is not designed for shaving, contouring, or trimming hair on other parts of the body or hair on the head.
• Wash and dry the facial area where you plan to use the device.
• Press the power button to activate the trimmer.
• Glide the trimmer gently over the skin using straight or circular movements, depending on the area and desired style.

• Ensure you maintain the device at the correct angle, as shown in Figure 2, to avoid irritation or cuts.

• Use the adjustable comb to define the cutting length if necessary.

• Switch off the device by pressing the power button.
• Clean the blades and comb with the included cleaning brush to remove any loose hair debris.
• Clean the device after each use to maintain its effectiveness.
• Store the device in a dry and safe place.

Removing the rechargeable battery

If you wish to dispose of the product, you must remove the rechargeable battery. Before removing it, ensure that the product is disconnected from the power supply and is completely discharged. Take necessary safety precautions when using tools to open the product and when disposing of the battery.

1. Check for screws on the front and rear of the product. If there are any, remove them.
2. Use a screwdriver to remove the front and rear covers of the product. Remove all necessary parts until you can see the printed circuit board holding the battery.
3. Remove the battery.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Unplug the device before cleaning.
• The comb attachment should be cleaned under running water. Ensure it is completely dry before use.
• Clean the blades with the cleaning brush provided to remove loose hair debris.
• Clean the trimmer housing with a soft, dry cloth.

• Store everything in a clean, dry, and dust-free location.

• TROUBLESHOOTING
