• Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the device in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the device.
• Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning.
• Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be repaired by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service in order to avoid any type of danger.
• Do not use the product outdoors, close to electric or gas hobs, flames, or inside an oven.
• Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cable. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not allow the cable to touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the working surface or worktop.

• Do not plug the appliance into the power supply until it is fully assembled and make sure it is unplugged before disassembling the appliance or handling its blade.

• Do not use the hand blender with hot food.

• Do not insert utensils into the product during operation to reduce the risk of splashing or injury. Please handle it with care.

2. BEFORE USE

• This hand blender has a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Unpack the appliance and keep the original packaging box and other packaging materials in a safe place. It will help you prevent any damage if the product needs to be transported in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or not in good condition, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.
• Before using this hand blender or any of its accessories, you must clean all the parts that will touch food.

3. OPERATION

Suitable for preparing baby food, soups, sauces, shakes and mayonnaise.

Blending food in the jug

Do not fill the jug with more than 800 ml.

Blending in pots, pans and casseroles

1. Take the pot away from the heat source and allow it cool down. Otherwise, the device could overheat.
2. Place the handle inside the blending arm shaft.
3. Plug the device in. To avoid any splashing, place the blade inside the food before switching it on.
4. Hold the handle steadily, then press the power button.
5. Do not allow any liquid to cover the joint between the handle and the stick shaft.
6. Move the blade slowly through the food, moving it upwards, downwards and in circles.
7. If the device gets jammed, unplug it before cleaning it.
8. After using the device, unplug it and disassemble it.

Balloon whisk/beaters

• Approximate usage time: 15 seconds.
• Suitable for whipping soft ingredients such as egg whites, cream, instant desserts, eggs, and sugar.

• Do not try to whisk harder mixtures like margarine, as you may damage the balloon whisk.

• Assemble the balloon whisks with the coupling system.

• Fit the blender handle inside the balloon whisks coupling system, then lock it with a click.
• Place the food in a container. Do not whisk more than 6 egg whites or 1000 ml of cream at the same time. Do not let any liquid get above the balloon whisks.
• Plug the device in and press the power button.
• After use, unplug and disassemble it.

• Suitable for mincing meat, cheese, vegetables, spices, bread, biscuits and nuts.
• Do not try to cut hard foods such as coffee beans, ice cubes, chocolate ounces, etc. Otherwise, the blade may get damaged.
• Install the motor with the gears.

Assembling the food-processor container, accessories, and cover

1. Place the food-processor container on a clean, stable surface, such as a countertop or table.
2. Choose one of the following food processor accessories:

- Grinding blade

- Reversible grinding disc

- Reversible slicing disc

You will find a shaft that can be used with all three processor accessories.

How to use the reversible grinding disc

1. Place the shaft in the centre of the food-processor container. Use caution when handling the grinding disc. Be careful not to cut yourself.
2. One side of the grinding disc is for coarse grinding and the other for fine grinding. Use the one that best suits the type of food you are going to prepare. Align the hole in the centre of the disc with the shaft and make sure to properly fix it by carefully pushing downwards.
3. Close the cover of the food-processor container and make sure it is properly fitted and closed.

How to use the reversible slicing disc

1. Place the shaft in the centre of the food-processor container. Handle it with care.
2. One side of the slicing disc is for cutting thick food and the other for cutting thin food. Use the one that best suits the type of food you are going to prepare. Align the hole in the centre of the disc with the shaft and make sure to properly fix it by carefully pushing downwards.
3. Close the cover of the food-processor container and make sure it is properly fitted and closed.

How to use the grinding blade

1. Carefully hold the grinding blade with one hand and, with the other hand, place the shaft through the centre of the blade. Be careful not to cut yourself. The blade must be placed at the base of the spindle. The blade shall be loosely loosened on the shaft but shall remain fixed while the appliance is in operation.
2. Handle the grinding blades with care, as they are very sharp.
3. Place the grinding blade and the shaft in the centre of the food-processor container. Place the food inside the food-processor container without exceeding the MAX mark.

1. Close the cover of the food-processor container and make sure it is properly fitted and closed.

How to use the food processor

1. Plug the appliance to a power supply.
2. Choose the speed using the speed knob.
3. Press the power button to switch on the appliance.
4. Insert the food through the hopper using the tamper. Do not insert fingers or any other object into the food processor. Use only the tamper provided.
5. When you have finished using it, switch it off by releasing the power button and unplug the device.
6. Remove the main body from the food processor cover and remove the cover from the container.

Recommendations on how to use the blender in the food processor container

• Do not use the blender when the container is empty.
• Cut food into uniformly sized pieces for better and faster results.
• The blender cuts and mixes foods and liquids quickly, making them easier to process. Do not forget to check the condition of the food during operation.

1. Insert the blender handle into the drive unit.
2. Remove the cover and mount the blade. Place the vegetables (e.g. carrots, cucumbers, potatoes...) in the food processor. You can choose between coarse, fine and looped blades. Place the hopper inside the container.
3. Press the operating button to cut the vegetables into a spiral shape.

How to assemble the blade

1. Remove the locking ring.
2. Remove the fixing clamp.
3. Place the blade in the slot, then use the clamp to fix the blade.

Potato masher

1. Place the food inside a blending jug or a sufficiently large mixing container.
2. Plug the appliance to a power supply.
3. Attach the potato masher using the coupling system.
4. Select high speed on the speed knob.
5. Place the potato masher inside the ingredients and press the power button to activate it.

1. Move the potato masher gently through the ingredients until the desired texture is achieved.
2. Turn the motor off by releasing the power button before taking the potato masher out of the container and unplug the device.

Turbo button

Press this button while using the device to run the device at maximum power and speed.

Note

The blender may overheat if this function is used for a long time.

Speed knob

Turn the speed knob to change the blades speed and choose whichever suits you best.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
• After processing very salty food, rinse the blades with water immediately.
• Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the product motor and container lid.
• The following parts are dishwasher safe: jug, blending arm, balloon whisk, beaters, processor container, grinding blade, reversible grinding disc, reversible slicing disc and spiraliser container.
• Do not use too much cleaning agent or descaler in your dishwasher.

• Never immerse the main body in water or other liquids.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the device.
• Please handle the blades carefully, they are very sharp.
• After processing coloured food, the plastic parts of the appliance may lose colour. It is suggested to clean these parts with vegetable oil before washing them in the dishwasher.

Cleaning the blades

To clean the blending arm properly, place 300 ml of lukewarm water in the blender jug with a little dishwashing soap, insert the blending arm into the soapy water up to the bottom of the blender jug, and run the blender in turbo mode in 10-second intervals. Empty the contents of the blender jug and refill it with 300 ml of clean water and repeat the same operation for rinsing. Repeat this process if necessary. Be cautious of splashes.
