How to install the fan?

Drill two 5 mm holes in the wall, insert the expansion plugs then the screws. Hang the fan by aligning the back holes with the screws. Make sure the installation is solid before use.

How to adjust the speed?

Use the chain (ref. 8): 1 pull = low speed, 2 = medium, 3 = high, 4 = off. You can also turn the selector located under the fan to choose one of the three speeds.

How to activate oscillation?

Pull the chain (ref. 7) to activate or deactivate the automatic oscillation function.

How to clean the fan?

Unplug the device, carefully remove the front grille and the blades. Clean with a soft cloth and a non-corrosive product, then dry with a dry cloth. Then reassemble.

Can I use an extension cord?

The use of extension cords is discouraged to avoid any risk of overheating or electric shock. Plug the fan directly into a wall socket.

What to do in case of malfunction?

Stop the device immediately and unplug it. Contact the official Cecotec after-sales service for any repair; do not open it yourself.

Can the fan be used outdoors?

No, this device is intended for indoor household use only. Avoid exposure to water, curtains or heat sources.

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

- All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.

- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.

- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.

- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the appliance marking and that the wall outlet is earthed.

- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be repaired by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service in order to avoid any type of danger.

- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the device in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the device.

- If the appliance falls accidentally into water, unplug it immediately. Do not touch the water!

- Do not operate the device if any fault or unusual sign is detected.

• Do not operate the product next to combustible or explosive gas.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and other parts of the body away from the openings and moving parts of the device.

• Cleaning and maintenance tasks should be carried out according to this manual to ensure the correct operation of the device.

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the appliance when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. ASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE

To hang the fan on the wall, follow the instructions below:

1. First, you need to drill 2 holes (approximately 5 mm) where you want to place the fan.

NOTE: the distance between the two holes is determined by the distance between the holes at the back of the fan.

1. Insert the two expansion plugs into each hole and then insert the fixing screws into the expansion plugs. The screws must leave a certain space for hanging the fan.
2. Finally, mount the fan on the wall, aligning the holes at the back with the screws.

NOTE: each package includes two screws and two expansion plugs.

4. OPERATION

1. Make sure that the voltage used corresponds to the voltage indicated. Then, plug the cable into the mains socket.
2. Pull the speed chain switch (8) to adjust the speed. Pull it once and the fan will run at low speed; pull it a second time and the fan will run at medium speed; pull it a third time and the fan will run at high speed; pull it again and the fan will switch off.
3. Pull the oscillation chain switch (7) to activate/deactivate the oscillation function.

Knob

At the bottom of fan, you will find a knob that allows you to choose the desired speed. Simply move it to the right or left to select one of the three available speeds.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Do not touch the blades with your hands or any object.
• Do not pull the cable sharply. If damaged, it must be repaired by a qualified electrician.

Cleaning

1. Unplug the cord from the power supply.
2. Remove the grille and blades carefully. Do not drop the blades.
3. Then use a soft, soapy cloth to clean the stains.
4. Then, wipe it with a dry cloth.

NOTE: never use polishes or corrosive liquids that could damage the paint or the fan structure.

1. When you have finished cleaning, replace the blades and grille.
