How to use the Cecotec Ceramiccare 5in1 Airbrush Gyro?

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.
• Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.
• Do not remove the serial number of the appliance in order to keep a correct traceability of it in case of assistance.

3. OPERATION

1. Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the product's rating label and that the plug is earthed. Plug the appliance into the mains.
2. Slide the on/off/mode selection switch upwards to turn on the brush. Set the switch to the desired mode.
3. The brush features 3 different modes: medium temperature air with low speed, high temperature air with high speed, and cool air with high speed.
4. Slide the on/off/mode selection switch to the lowest position to turn off the appliance.

Fitting the attachments

• To fit an attachment, place it onto the brush handle by aligning the front slot and press until you hear a click.
• To remove the attachment, press the head release buttons. Then pull the attachment upwards to separate it from the handle.

WARNING:

Do not force the removal of the attachment, as this could break the locking mechanism. If it offers too much resistance when removing, ensure both release buttons are fully pressed.

Rotating the attachments

The rotation function is only available for the 40 mm and 50 mm brushes.

• Once the attachment is fitted and the brush is turned on, press one of the rotation buttons to rotate the head in that direction.
• Press the other button to rotate the head in the opposite direction.
• Release the rotation button to stop the head from rotating.

Using the brush

Basic hair drying tips:

1. Wash your hair with shampoo and towel-dry to remove excess moisture, then section your hair.
2. Dry the roots with a hairdryer before using the brush.
3. Take a section of hair and pass the brush from roots to tips, always directing the airflow towards the hair, not the scalp.
4. To prevent over-drying, do not concentrate heat on a single section of hair for too long. Keep the brush moving while in use.
5. When reaching the ends, you can use the rotation function of the 40 mm and 50 mm attachments to style the tips. You can also use this function to style shorter sections of

hair such as fringes.

1. To curl hair, place the section diagonally across the brush head and rotate it so that the hair slides over the head and then over the handle.

WARNING: Do not wrap hair perpendicular to the brush, as it may become tangled.

WARNING: Keep the brush's air inlet grille clean and unobstructed.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Note: Before performing any of the following operations, ensure the brush is unplugged from the mains.

1. Remove any hair residue or dirt trapped between the bristles using a comb or small brush.
2. Gently clean the ceramic barrel and bristles with a soft, slightly dampened cloth. Do not use chemical products or abrasive detergents that could damage the ceramic surface.
3. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the product's surface.
4. You can remove the air inlet grille by pulling the tabs. Use a soft brush or cotton bud to clean the air inlet.
5. Never immerse the device in water or other liquids.
6. Do not use scouring pads, powders, or abrasive cleaning products to clean the product.
7. Do not twist, bend, stretch, or damage the power cord.
8. Clean any dirt and hair that may block the appliance.

Storage

• Store the brush in a dry place protected from dust.
• Avoid wrapping the power cord around the brush, as this could damage it.

5. TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem	Possible causes
