Battery instructions

- Keep batteries away from children and animals, they could be harmful if swallowed. In case of ingestion, seek medical assistance immediately. - Battery ingestion can cause burns, soft-tissue perforation, and death. It can cause severe burns within two hours of the ingestion.

- In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical attention immediately. - Leaks from the batteries can occur under extreme conditions. Do not touch any liquid that leaks from the batteries. If the liquid gets into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water for a minimum of

10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.

- Avoid contact between the batteries and small metal objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, or screws.

- Non-rechargeable batteries should not be recharged.

- Discharged batteries must be removed from the appliance and disposed of safely.

2. BEFORE USE

- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.

- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

How to install/replace batteries

Before installing or replacing the battery, make sure that the appliance is switched off. Then, turn the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow on its base and remove it. Remove the old battery, install a new AA battery as indicated in the battery compartment, positive side in, and replace the cover (Fig. 2).

How to remove/install the head

1. Rotate the cutting head and pull it out of the body of the appliance. Remove the inner blade from the head to clean it (Fig. 3).

Note: do not touch the metal part of the blade with your hands, you could injure yourself.

1. To reinstall the head, insert the inner blade into the external head. Then, attach the cutting head to the body of the appliance and turn it to the opposite side until it clicks into place (Fig. 4).

Using the appliance

1. Remove the protective cover and slide the power switch upwards to switch on the appliance.

2. Carefully insert the tip of the head into the nostril or ear canal. Do it slowly to avoid injury to the nose or ears.

3. Move the head gently in a circular motion to trim nose or ear hair. Only remove the hair that protrudes from the nostrils and ears (do not insert the head more than 5 mm to avoid injury). After using the trimmer, some hair may remain on the nose or ears. Use a piece of toilet paper to remove them.

4. After using the appliance, switch it off and clean the head.

5. Before cleaning the appliance, make sure that it is switched off. Remove the removable head and inner blade, clean them with the cleaning brush and rinse them with water.

6. After cleaning, reinsert the inner blade back into the head and reattach it to the body of the appliance.

- Do not use towels, paper, or aluminium scouring pads to clean the cutting head.

- After cleaning, reinsert the inner blade back into the head and reattach it to the body of the appliance.
