How to prepare rice before cooking?
Wash the rice thoroughly several times in clean water and drain it. Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount. Do not wash the rice in the inner pot (risk of damage). Then pour the rice into the pot, level the surface and add cold water up to the corresponding graduation.
How much water should I add?
The inner pot has graduations for cups of rice. For example, for 3 cups of rice, fill water up to graduation 3. Adjust according to your taste: a little more water for softer rice, a little less for firmer rice.
Why does the keep warm light turn on during cooking?
This is normal: the cooker automatically switches to keep warm mode once cooking is finished. If this happens too early, check that you have enough water and that the lid is properly closed.
How to clean the rice cooker?
Unplug the appliance and let it cool. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth. The inner pot can be washed by hand with a soft sponge and detergent. Never immerse the main body in water and do not put it in the dishwasher.
