Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children. Keep the appliance and its packaging out of the reach of children and animals when unsupervised.
The device must only be supplied at a safety extra-low voltage in accordance with the voltage indicated on the device.
Do not use the appliance if it shows visible signs of damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec in order to avoid any type of danger.
Do not try to open, disassemble, or repair the device by yourself. There are no serviceable parts inside the device.
Keep the appliance away from heat sources.
Do not use the appliance outdoors. Do not expose the appliance to extreme temperatures, moisture, wet conditions, or direct sunlight.
Cecotec accepts no liability for damage caused by improper or incorrect use.
Keep water and other liquids away from the appliance.
Wide temperature variations could cause condensation. In this case, allow the appliance to go back to room temperature before use.
Do not use caustic or abrasive cleaning materials to clean the appliance, this could damage the surface.
The device has a heated surface. People insensitive to heat should exercise caution when using the appliance.

Battery instructions

This device contains an irreplaceable battery.
This device includes a Li-ion battery. Do not incinerate or expose it to high temperatures, as it may explode.
Leaks from the battery or cells can occur under extreme conditions. Do not touch any liquid that leaks from the battery. If the liquid gets into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.
Avoid contact between the battery and small metallic objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, or screws.
Before a new battery is used or the battery is used for the first time after long-term storage, fully charge the battery.
When the device is stored and not used for long periods of time, ensure that the battery pack is fully charged.

WARNINGS

Do not use the device if you are particularly sensitive to light.
Do not use the appliance if you are taking medication that may cause skin sensitivity to light.
Do not use the appliance in the areas around the eyes or ears and other sensitive areas.
Do not use the device on chapped skin, eczema, or tumour areas.
Do not use the device until you have removed all metal objects (earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.).
Do not use the appliance during charging.
Do not hold the appliance over the same area for more than 10 seconds.
Do not put water or any other liquid inside any part of the appliance, as it is not waterproof.
Keep the intensity in an acceptable range during use.
If you are pregnant, consult your doctor before using the appliance.

2. BEFORE USE

- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport.

Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials.

- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the Official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

- Make sure that the battery is charged before using the device for the first time.

3. OPERATION

Charging the device

-Charge the appliance to full power before using the appliance for the first time or after a long period of inactivity.

-Make sure the appliance is switched off. Connect the charging cord to the product and then to a compatible power adapter.

Placing the cotton disc (Fig. 2)

-If you are using the DEEP CLEAN mode, you can use a cotton disc for deeper cleaning.

-Remove the locking ring by pulling it gently.

-Place a thin cotton disc over the cleaner head and return the locking ring to its position.

-If desired, moisten the disc with a little cleaning lotion.

WARNING: do not use cream or gel lotions.

NOTE: the heat radiated by the appliance can be weakened if you use a thick cotton disc.

Switching on and use of the appliance (Fig. 3).

1. Hold down the power and mode change button for 2 seconds to switch the appliance on. The LCD display will turn on.

2. Press the power and mode change button repeatedly to select the desired mode.

3. Press the intensity change button to adjust intensity from 1 to 5. Start at the lowest intensity and work your way up if you feel comfortable. If at any time you feel discomfort, return to a lower intensity.

4. Hold the body of the device with one hand so that the palm of the hand comes into contact with the ion induction zone, this will activate the sonic vibration.

NOTE: if your hand does not come into contact with the ion induction zone, the sonic waves, heat, and EMS waves will not be activated.

1. Place the head on the face and move it over the entire area to be treated. Do not hold the head for more than 10 seconds on any one area of the face.

2. Move the head in circles in DEEP CLEAN and FULLY ABSORB modes.

3. Move the head from the inside to the outside in MOISTURE mode.

4. When you are finished using the cleaner, press and hold the power and mode change button to turn it off. The appliance turns automatically off after 5 minutes of inactivity.

5. The device shall store the last used mode and intensity.

6. If you have applied lotions to your cotton disc or face, wash your face with cold water.

WARNING: this appliance is not waterproof. Wipe off lotion residues after each use.

Modes:

-DEEP CLEAN: this mode integrates outward conduction of positive ions, sonic vibration and gentle heat. It is indicated for deep cleansing and pore reduction.

- FULLY ABSORB: this mode integrates inward conduction of negative ions, sonic vibration, red light and gentle heat. It is indicated for facial rejuvenation and improvement of skin texture and colour. You can apply lotions or essences to the face before using the Fully Absorb mode.

- MOISTURE: This mode integrates EMS waves, sonic vibration, blue light, and gentle heat. It is indicated for moisturising and firming the face and filling small wrinkles. You can apply a mask or cream to your face before using Moisture mode. Due to the EMS waves, you may feel a slight tingling sensation, this is completely normal.

- When the battery is low, the battery symbol will flash on the LCD display, reminding you to charge the device. The device will switch off a few minutes after this symbol appears.

- Connect the charging cord to the product and then to a compatible power adapter.

NOTE: the device does not work during charging.

-To protect the battery, please discharge and recharge the device once every 3 months if it is not used for a long time.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

-Turn off the appliance before cleaning.

Use a soft cloth to clean the surface of the product after each use.

- Remove any remaining lotions or creams and dry the device completely.

- Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.

- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the device.

- If you are not going to use the appliance for a long period of time, store the appliance in its box.

6. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES

cells/batteries/accumulators and take them to a collection point designated by the local authorities.
