SOMMAIRE

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

- When using electrical appliances, basic precautions must always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, and injury.

- Make sure the voltage of your mains supply matches the voltage requirements specified in the rating label of the appliance.

- Unplug the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or maintenance task, or when not in use. Allow it to cool down completely before attaching or removing parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

- Do not touch the surface of the fryer without gloves, as it may be hot.

- The appliance must not be used in potentially dangerous locations, such as flammable, explosive, chemical-laden, or wet atmospheres, nor near flammable materials.

- Place the fryer on an even, heat-resistant surface. Do not place the device near heat sources, places with high humidity levels, or combustible materials.

- Exercise caution when introducing objects made of materials other than metal or glass.

- Do not use the appliance to store accessories not recommended by Cecotec when not in use.

- Do not insert any of the following materials into the appliance: cardboard, plastic, paper or similar.

- Do not cover the crumb-collecting tray or any other part of the device with aluminium foil. This will cause the unit to overheat.

- Do not insert large food, packaging or metal utensils into the device as this may cause an electric shock.

- A fire may occur if the appliance is covered or touches flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation.

- Do not place anything on top of the appliance.

- Do not operate under wall furniture.

- Do not leave the product unattended while it is connected to the mains or during operation.

- Do not lean on the appliance during use.

- Do not rest cooking utensils or baking trays on the glass door.

- The appliance is not intended to be used by children under the age of 8. It can be used by children over the age of 8, as long as they are given continuous supervision.

- Keep this appliance and its power cord out of reach of

children under the age of 8.

  • The cleaning and maintenance of the appliance should not be carried out by children without supervision.
  • Supervise young children to make sure that they do not play with the appliance.

2. BEFORE USE

  • Take the product out of the box.
  • Check for any visible damage. If any is observed, contact as soon as possible the Technical Support Service of Cecotec for advice or reparation.
  • Place the fryer on an even, heat-resistant surface.
  • Maintain a minimum distance of 110 mm between the socket outlet and the wall, furniture, etc.

  • Wash all accessories and clean the inside of the device.

  • Thoroughly dry all accessories and reassemble in the oven.
  • When using the device for the first time, it is necessary to let it run for 18 minutes at maximum temperature (230°C) to sterilise it and to eliminate any bad odours from the manufacturing process.
  • The unit may emit odour or smoke due to the protective film on the heating element.

Features

Door sensor: when the door is opened, the cooking process will pause, and the light will come on. The panel will display Fig. 2. When the door is closed, the light will go out and the cooking process will resume. Be sure to keep the door of the appliance closed during cooking.

3. OPERATION

All the functions of the control panel will be explained below, followed by a quick operating guide.

Note

- The default information in the table above is for reference only, you can adjust the temperature and cooking time to your liking.

- The data may vary depending on the different characteristics of the food to be cooked.

- When cooking greasy foods (e.g., chicken wings) in the rack or basket of the air fryer, place the baking tray in the slot at the bottom to prevent oil from dripping onto the stainless steel.

Tip

It is recommended to use the pizza stone for cooking pizza. For a perfect result, preheat the stone at the same time as you preheat the oven and then insert the pizza on top of the stone.

Time/Temperature icon (14)

- Click on this icon to modify the time and temperature of the programmes.

- Press once and the time will start flashing, press the plus and minus icons (18) to adjust it. Press twice and the temperature will start flashing, press the plus and minus icons (18) to adjust it.

Note

For the Toasting programme, only the time can be changed, you will be able to choose among 3 different time options. To change the time, press the Plus icon.

Press this icon to select the desired menu. To select the desired menu, you can press this icon continuously or you can scroll through the programmes with the plus and minus icons (18).

On/off (16)

Press this icon to turn the device on and off.

Start/pause (17)

Press this icon to start or pause the selected programme. If the door is opened during cooking, cooking will be paused and when the door is closed, the start icon must be pressed again.

Preheating (18)

After selecting the desired programme and having set the temperature and time, press the 'Preheat' icon to preheat the appliance.

Note

It is not necessary to press the Start/Pause icon for preheating to begin. During preheating, dashed lines will be shown on the display. Fig.3.

Once the device has preheated, it will beep and "Add Food" will appear on the display (Fig. 4.). At this point, open the oven door, insert the food, close the door and press the Start icon.

Plus/Minus (19)

Use these icons to set the time and temperature. In addition, you can also use them to select the desired programme.

Fan (20)

This icon is not functional, it will only light up and flash when the selected programme uses the fan.

Rotisserie (21)

Press this icon once the desired programme has been selected and the time and temperature have been set if desired. This function is ideal for cooking a roasted chicken.

Light (22)

Press this icon to turn the light on and press it again to turn it off.

ENGLISH

When you start a programme, the light will be on, as well as when you open the door, in this case you do not need to turn the light off manually, it will automatically turn off.

Dual cooking (23)

This programme allows you to start cooking with one programme and automatically switch to a second programme for perfect cooking. This programme is ideal for cooking a Quiche Lorraine, for example.

To use the dual cooking programme, follow the instructions below:

  • Turn the device on by pressing the Power On/Off icon.
  • Press the Dual Cook icon.
  • Then 5 programmes will be illuminated: Air fryer, Baking, Grill, Roasting, Keep warm. Select the desired programme by pressing the plus and minus icons. The selected programme will remain fixed and the others will continue to flash. Once you have selected the first programme, set the desired time and temperature.
  • Once the first programme has been selected, press the menu icon again to confirm the first programme. The remaining unselected programmes will remain illuminated and flash. Follow the above procedure and press the menu icon to set the programme.
  • Press the preheat icon and as soon as the oven has preheated 'Add Food' will appear on the display. At this point, insert the food, close the door and the programme will start automatically. If not, press the Start / Pause icon.
  • If you do not wish to preheat the oven, press the Start / Pause icon directly to start cooking. Cooking will start and when the first cooking is finished, the device will beep twice to indicate the start of the next cooking. You do not need to press the Start / Pause icon.
  • When the second programme has finished, the device will beep and the display will show 'End'.

How to use the air fryer oven. Quick operating guide.

  • Press the On/Off icon to turn on the device. The display will illuminate and the Air Fry icon will flash.
  • Press the Menu icon and select the desired programme by pressing the Plus / Minus icons (18) or you can also press the Menu icon continuously to change the programme. For each programme, the default temperature and time will be shown on the display, but they can be changed.
  • If the menu setting is not what you want, press the Time/Temperature icon to change it. Then press the Plus / Minus icons to adjust it.
  • Press the Preheat icon to preheat the oven before cooking, the icon will start flashing. The oven will display "Add Food" and beep, once it has reached 150°C. At this point you can put the food in the oven.
  • Cooking will start automatically, in case you do not use the preheat function press the Start / Pause icon to start cooking.
  • When cooking is finished, the device will beep and display 'End'.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
  • Always clean the appliance after each use.
  • Allow the device and accessories to cool down before disassembling or cleaning.

Cleaning of the outside and the door of the appliance

  • Do not use metallic tools or abrasive products to clean the basket and rack. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the surface.
  • Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the product.
  • Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the surface of the product. You can use a non-abrasive liquid detergent or a mild spray solution to prevent stains from building up. Apply the cleaning agent to the sponge and not to the surface of the device directly.
  • To clean the glass door, use a glass cleaner or mild detergent and a damp sponge or soft plastic scouring pad. Do not use abrasive products or metallic scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface of the device.
  • Clean the LED display with a soft, damp cloth. Apply the cleaning agent to the cloth, do not apply it directly to the LED display. Cleaning the LED display with a soft or abrasive cloth may scratch it.

Cleaning the inside of the appliance

To clean any splashes that may occur during cooking processes, use a soft, damp sponge to wipe the walls. You can use a non-abrasive liquid detergent or a mild spray solution to prevent stains from building up. Apply the cleaning product to the sponge and not directly to the interior.

Warning

Use extreme caution when cleaning the heating element to avoid damaging it. Allow the device to cool down completely and then carefully rub a soft, damp sponge or cloth along the heating elements. Do not use any cleaning agents or detergents. Allow all surfaces to dry thoroughly before connecting the power cord to the power outlet and turning on the device.

Cleaning the crumb tray

  • After each use, remove the crumb tray and discard the crumbs. Use a damp sponge to clean the tray. You can use a non-abrasive liquid detergent or a mild spray solution to prevent stains from building up. Apply the cleaning product to the sponge and not directly to the tray. Dry thoroughly.
  • To get rid of grease, soak the tray in soapy water and wash it with a sponge or soft plastic scouring pad. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  • Always make sure to insert the crumb tray back into the device after cleaning and before connecting the power cord to the socket or switching on the device.

Cleaning the oven rack, dehydrator rack, baking tray and basket of the air fryer

  • Wash all accessories in warm soapy water and use a soft plastic sponge or scouring pad. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads or metal utensils to clean any of the accessories, as this may damage the surface.
  • Accessories are not dishwasher safe.

Storage

  • Make sure all its parts are clean and dry when you store it.
  • Make sure the door is closed.
  • Store the device cool, on a horizontal surface and on the support feet. Do not store while hot or wet. Do not store in hot and humid environments.

5. TROUBLESHOOTING

7. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), specifies that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of with the normal unsorted municipal waste. Old appliances must be collected separately, in order to optimise the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.

The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation to dispose of the appliance correctly.

Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.

8. TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND WARRANTY

This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given proper use, as explained in this instruction manual.

The warranty will not cover the following situations:

  • The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer.
  • The product has been disassembled, modified, or repaired by persons, not authorised by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
  • Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.

The warranty service covers every manufacturing defect of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not apply.
